The shelves are well made out of bamboo.  For an adult man you will only get 3 x pairs of shoes/boots per shelf.  I bought 3 units %26 stacked them vertically with brackets.  Then attached them to my closet wall with L brackets - very sturdy.  Looks really good

Ooh, this a nice!! I've never really had such a nice shoe rack, although I certainly have shoes.
Burnished bamboo, smooth and well fitted, and easy to assemble. The end caps are attractive. The only issue is the "tool" you get to tighten the screws is a very small gold plated (not) allen wrench. A drill with that type of bit would be much more fun. It took me a good hour to set the screws and tighten. 
Anyway, it looks great and probably holds 16 pair of shoes, with space under the bottom for whateves.

lining up all t g e holes is frustrating but end result is worth it.  perfect oe rack for my space.  it doesn't take up a lot of room and holds a good amount of shoes. Looks very sleek and nice. I'm very satisfied with purchase again

Great little shelf – easy to assemble and looks nice. It works well for shoes, but you can also use it for storing towels, baskets, or other small items. Very versatile!

Not just for shoes – very handy!

This provided much needed shoe storage for our family of 5. This was put near our back door where shoes kept piling up on a shoe mat. I bought a rubber shoe mat for easy cleaning and put this shoe rack on top of it. It's been working nicely for months and was well worth it.

It looks good and was so easy to assemble. All I needed was the little tool that came with it.

It happens to be what it says it was… I just wasn't blown away by it but pretty solid materials too. 4 stars clam down

The picture used to sell it shows 20 pairs of shoes on the rack - I have size 10 shoes, and (see below) could only fit 12. They used a misleading picture, using what must have been very small shoes. Material and finish are good, and it was easy to assemble.

This is totally misleading. The photo shows u can keep upto 5 pairs in each tier. But this is actually very small . U can keep 3 pairs in each tier. Had to return.
