I've owned the Zinus spa sensations mattress. It is firmer than this, but it is still very comfortable. This is similar, but more like a pillow top. I trust this brand to hold up well for years of wear, so my first night's review should hold up, and I'll edit it if not. I am a side sleeper, and I have wide hips. my hip sank just the right depth into the mattress to keep my spine in alignment. When I got up, there was no stiffness in my back or hips, and I was able to move easily. I fell asleep quickly, and it was very restful. I didnt notice any bad smells, the green tea smells wonderful. I am using the 12" bed with a 14" frame, giving it a good height to my hips, I am 5'8 for comparison. If you like a medium soft mattress with firm support underneath, this one is for you.

I purchased 2 of these  Full size 10 Inch Top Cooling Gel Memory Foam Mattresses, one for each kid. When I received them, I immediately opened them up and let them expand. There is a note in the instructions that says you can use the mattress while you give it a full 72 hours for full expansion. I  left them for 3 hours and they were amazingly filled out, so I laid on it just to see, and WOW!  It was just firm enough for support but the top was definitely soft and comforting. I really like these and they are for my 10 year old kids!!  I know they will love them and I am very happy I chose Zinus. I purchased twin size Zinus Foam mattresses  for my kids previous beds and now I am happy for these full size ones. I completely recommend this mattress, especially if you want a soft top with a firm bottom for support, this one is it.

Great mattress with support and soft top

i loved their lighthearted card that said give to the responsible person,
 so i took that role as cousin Johnny rolled it out. Easy peasy. They said there could be a plastic smell for a fay or two. we didn't notice a bad smell at all. We ended up taking a quick nap after lunch, and it felt great! apparently, it will expand even more over 72 hours! i have a full size, which is 
more than smple for me. highly recommend! my back felt the difference right away. I can't wait for my frame and headboard on Tues!

You won't regret getting this bed!

Coming from a person that suffers from constant back pain and having a pillow top mattress purchased 10 years ago, it was time we changed to something more firmer. This mattress is super comfy, I tend to fall asleep next to my son when I'm putting him to bed because it's just perfect. It's supportive and firm, but also soft at the same time. If we didn't already have mattresses for the other kids, we would be purchasing more of these! 100% recommend!

Favorite/best mattress of all the kids mattresses!

Exactly what we were looking for. I haven't necessarily noticed a cooling effect, but I wake up with much less low back pain which makes this well worth the price. Opened easily and expanded as expected. Buy it!

Just get it.

I didn't like this mattress at all. I've been waking up with body pain every night since I started using it. It feels like certain areas sink in more than others, creating uneven pressure on my body. I've tried sleeping on my back and on my side, but nothing helps. It's just not comfortable or supportive enough for me. Would not recommend.

I bought to see the good reviews but i am really disappointed. Being single mom with low income could not afford good quality mattresses for my special need 9 year old child so ordered at Walmart. Its been a week my mattresses raise only around 4.5 inches. Customer service says cant return at store have to arrange pickup from house. I told them i go to work so can't take full day off then i will loose 100 dollars for the day. But still they give 2 weeks later pickup time ia morning 9am to 5pm. Whole day i have to wait. I am loosing money if don't go to work to return this mattresses 131 dollars. I don't know what to do now???? If you are poor mom like me then don't take risks better buy from mattresses store.

Waste of money

its been 2 days my 6 inch mattress is not getting on its heights which it supposed to be 6 inch. i called Walmart and they said it not to return at store instead they will arrange pickup from home .but i have to go to work so if i stay home all day then i will loose my payment from work, so . stupidity i bought it. its only 3.5 inch height.

This mattress is like sleeping on the hard ground there is no comfort  what so ever. If you are looking for a stiff as a board mattress then this one is for you!! I wake up with more pain than I had when I went to sleep. I do not recommend this mattress at all .
