This is my go-to. I've purchased other brands that are just not able to seal correctly, and the marinade goes everywhere or puncture easily. These are strong and hold the liquid in with no issues.

walmart.com

I like zip lock brand much better than other brands because of the size. It is just about 1/4” wider and it fits perfectly with a paper plate. Also like the double zip that assures the bag is sealed.

Ziploc Freezer Gallon Bags. We have used this since the pandemic to move items from box or bag to Freezer bag for safety reasons and making life a lot easier to move them and keep the safety of your food in tact. Thanks Walmart for having what we need to keep us Safe...

Zipooc, Gallon Freezer Bags, Pandemic Safety

I would give it a five but after a million years in business they still can't make it easier to close and a better product? yes they can they just don't. the bag with the zip across it always has a gap. no matter what they do they do not want to make the closing of these easier for some reason I have no idea but it must have to do with them making more money.

I use these for my extra packages of meat I buy. saves from freezer frost and if you leave your protein in its original packaging … you can easily reuse them

Shop ahead

I thought I ordered the "Slider" closure option, not the "Press to Close" option. Slider closure is sturdier and easier for students to open and close quickly. But I will make do. The freezer bags are sturdier and last longer than the regular bags.

Great for Storing School and Art Supplies!

These bags are noticeably thicker than standard storage bags and hold up well in the freezer without tearing, cracking, or letting in freezer burn over time. The seal is easy to close and stays closed, even when bags are packed full.

Zip lock baggies of all sizes I have used for years and as of the last couple years they don't seal as good as they used to . Things packaged for the freezer become freezer burnt and that waste alot of food . Recently had to throw out a ton of meat which makes me angry with the cost of groceries !

Zip lock bags have gone to crap !

So far the ones I have gotten out of here don't stay zipped at all. If they zip, it is not tight and opens up very easily. Disappointed because Ziploc brand is my go to for when I need a tight seal and I bought the freezer ones because of the double seal along with it being thicker. Maybe I just got a lemon. I hope Ziploc hasn't started making them cheaper like so many brands

Don't stay sealed

We have used Ziploc for years and loved them. However they have changed something and these bags are junk. There is a fused seal under the ziplock that tears easily. We were going to freeze some fresh produce and when we lifted the bag the fused portion just separated leaving us holding the top of the bag with the seal and our produce all over the floor. You can easily tug on the bag while holding the top and cause these fused sections to rip. See picture provided.
