Wonderful wide-mouth container, perfect for using with Melitta-style pour over cone (I would assume Hario-style cones would also fit) with confidence (I've done pour overs on my regular Zojirushi insulated mug - it works, but feels unsafe due to the narrow base).  In fact, I've used it with my regular Aeropress, too!  The only con is: since it is a food container, it doesn't decant cleanly like a mug.

We had been using a taller version of this but the kids couldn't get their spoons to the bottom of the jar. I bought two of these and they work great, keeping foods safely warm for my kids. It's got a wide mouth which helps them see what they are eating. This is the third I bought for my third kid. I can see it working for when my lunches too. We've used other brands but Zojirushi is the best, keeping the food warm longest. I believe Zojirushi is also recommended by Wirecutter.

First time buyer of this product. Good quality and does not leak. Keep in mind to buy a bamboo utensel or something that will not scratch the inside.

I found them to be esthetically pleasing, the perfect size, and has an excellent built in stay fresh lid. Other containers have let in moisture or air in the past, but this container does not do that at all. I absolutely love this jar and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a very high quality jar!

My youngest is a very picky eater and loves to bring like cereal for lunch or wants to bring Mac and cheese or something like that. But it gets cold. Or the milk from his cereal gets warm. This container keeps hot food nice and hot and cold food nice and cold! It looks really nice and sleek. It's a nice smooth grey color and is not huge or too small. It's the perfect size for a kids lunch. He can put milk in it to keep it cold then add the cereal at lunch. It's perfect! It has a lid with an inner seal. The seal is great. It's like a double lid. And seals automatically. Easy to clean. It is metal so it's not microwaveable. I would definitely buy 2 more of these. One for each kid. I would love to get each color. I love the colors. I love the design. I love the look and the feel of it. It's very smooth. It's not only great for kids it's also great for adults! It really is a decent sized! Had been thinking about getting one for a while, but didn't realize they came in the bigger size than the ones the grandkids take to school.  It's great that it's for hot or cold food.  No matter what I put it in it, it'll fill my hubby up.  I put spaghetti in it at 7:30 a.m. & he said it was still hot at 1 p.m.  Cute little elephant on front & great suction on the lid.  He'll be getting a lot more home cooked lunches now.

The little elephant mascot on the jar is so adorable. The lid is a bit difficult to hand wash, but other than that I have no complaints. I think this is a fantastic food jar.
