This was purchased for my husband who is a US mail carrier.  As it gets colder he brings a thermos of coffee with him daily. He has had many!  He says this is by far the best! His coffee was HOT all day!  He is vey pleased.

i am very pleased with the SF-CC15 -- wide-mouth -- thermos.  Using filtered water, I make several trays of ice cubes which I put in the bottle and top off with water.  The thermos then sits on the counter providing  easy access to cool water for days, and I don't open the refrigerator or freezer a gazillion times. The water stays cool for days.  

As I drink the water, I add more water to the remaining ice cubes, which last for several days. I love the wide mouth for easy access to ice cubes.  Also, I don't know but I suspect that the second -- inner -- cup helps insulate. 

Both the stopper and the outer cup "click" into place when I tighten them; that way, I know that I've tightened the stopper and won't have leaks.  Please note:  I'm careful to keep the thermos upright, so I can't vouch for it rolling around in the trunk of a car or bottom of a canoe or kayak.  I've had no problems, though, when I've tipped the thermos over.

I've had various thermoses and thought long and hard about buying another.  I'm glad I bought it!!!  The other thermoses have gone on to new homes.

Cold water for days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well insulated thermos I use for hydration drinks while playing tennis on hot days.  Hold's plenty and keeps it cold all day.  Sold build.

Great for Sports Hydration

I was given this thermos as a gift. It has surpassed any thermos I have ever used and I have tried a lot of them. The best thing about this thermos is that it keeps your liquid HOT for at least six hours. I do outdoor sports in Winter, so this really matters to me. Tea drinkers rejoice!

It does not leak, keep hot water hot/warm for 10 hrs. Sturdy

I like it.  This isn't the perfect thermal bottle I'd hoped for, but it's good.  

First the good: It keeps my coffee hot until I've finished it, about six hours after making it.  It resolves the issue I (and my boss) had with my previous bottle:  it pours without dripping or spilling or dribbling down the side.  
The mediocre: The cup is fine, but it is difficult to drink from and, because it's so wide, its contents cool more quickly.
The bad:  It leaks.  I don't know why.  You can fill it with water and turn it upside down, leaving it like that without a drop.  But if it tips over or rolls around a little on my drive to work, I have coffee leaking from somewhere somehow.  It is a bit of a drag to have to keep a hand on this to prevent it from tipping or rolling.

Well done with room for improvement

I've used zojirushi's travel bottles for years and love them, this is my third! Purchased because I started wanting more tea at work and tried to use a 64oz Stanley, but its uncoated stainless interior kept oxidizing the tea within about 2 hours. Grabbed this on Black Friday sale and it keeps my tea as well as any other I've tried from Zojirushi. 

4 stars instead of the 5 because the lid/cup is way better as a lid than a cup. I was hoping I could leave my real mug at home and just use the lid but it isn't practical without a real handle (and the interior is plastic, which I don't want to drink hot liquids out of). Better than nothing if I happen to break my mug, but definitely not something I'd choose to use regularly. 

I'd still recommend this if you need something with a large capacity, but plan on bringing your own mug.

Great travel bottle, but lid is not a good cup
