The Stainless Mug with Tea Leaf Filter from the SM-JTE series come in two chic colors and a narrower diameter to allow for an easy grip. The Tea Leaf Filter allows for steeping fresh and loose tea inside the mug, holding them contained so that they don’t flow out while drinking. <br>The vacuum insulation technology used in these series work to keep the temperature of the beverage at a constant for hours by completely removing the air from in between the two layers of stainless steel that make up the walls of the mug. By doing so, a vacuum is created disabling any heat from travelling through air thus creating an advanced way of preserving heat. To strengthen this retention of temperatures, the insulated products feature a layer of copper or aluminum which help reflect the heat. The insulation of the body of product is aided by an airtight, insulated lid. The heat retention achieved through this technique helps keep the hot beverages still hot (rather than lukewarm) and cold beverages cool (rather than room temperature) for hours after filling when compared with products using either foam or double wall insulation.<br>The non-stick coating finish arms the mug with a resilient surface that repels odours and stains making its use practical, clean and fresh.<br>The twist open lid snugly fits the mug creating a barrier for any accidental leak while the mouth piece that’s fitted at the mouth of the mug can be removed for drinking comfort. Appearance

As advertised. It's a nice cup and well thought out to be able to enjoy warm tea while traveling and also to be able to have it throughout the day. I like to leave my tea in there and refill with water. Extra benefits

Stays very hot all day. High quality. Some complain that it's hard to clean all the parts but I don't think it's bad.

Superb

I refuse to buy thermos from any other brands since discovering Zojirushi back in 2018. This is my 6th purchase. I haven't tried this tea version yet because I mostly drink coffee. But I'm excited to try it soon.

Sleek design. Drinks stay hot for hours!!

I bought two of the larger ones for my daughter because I have used them for a number of years and love traveling with them. In my opinion, these are the best thermoses I can find, as the hot water reaches the small tea strainer in the top quite well (don't overfill the tea strainer, or it's messy), and the tea stays hot--really hot--most of the day. It's still quite warm 12 hours after filling it.

Hot💯

The design is elegant and the blue color scheme is visually attractive. The mug is the perfect size for one. The inner tea filter is well designed and easy to remove and clean. Drink keeps its temperature overnight.
My only reservation is that the top must be unscrewed in order to drink, which is a bit inconvenient. Surely there is a better design. Nevertheless, a good buy.

Elegant and Attractive

I have two tea thermoses that keep tea hot most of the day, depending on how hot the original water was. The screw on lids work fine for me and I can leave them open to cool off the tea when it's to hot (wolong or black teas). 
Two issues. The color of the lids and the thermoses don't match. Also bleach will cause pitting in the lining. I guess vinegar is a better way to remove the tea stains, some of which are difficult to completely clean.

It keeps coffee/tea piping hot for hours and you really can just throw it in your bag without it leaking. Only con I have is that it doesn't fit under my coffee maker but I'm still happy for the extra ounces

I bought this recently and it didn't meet my expectations. It's more of a thermos than a mug. You have to unscrew and remove the top and drink from the wide mouth or pour your drink into a mug. The loose tea leaves are hard to clean out of the main body and filter, which is a hassle when traveling and trying to do this in a hotel bathroom sink. What's the purpose of the removable flat top that comes off of the screw on lid? Seems over-engineered with too many pieces to disassemble and clean. It keeps the drink hot, but it's not a mug you can easily drink from while on the go.
