Makes great coffee.  It's like a basic pour-over set-up except that it keeps the coffee piping hot. I like the small size, does not take over my kitchen counter but does produce 2 - 3 decent sized cups of coffee. 
I've been avoiding getting a real coffee maker but after I read the reviews for this machine I had to try it.  Not at all disappointed. Now my guests won't churn out three cups of Keurig in a row - drives me nuts.

Great coffee machine. My only problem is a timer to turn off or to keep it warm. I brought a timer plug for it. Easy to fill water and all around a solid machine

It has a cancer warning for California but I talked to the manufacturer ant thats for the shipping bag. Nothing to do with the machine.

My third Zutto coffee maker; the second and third purchases were in order to replace a broken carafe (jug). This is a penalty to those faithful users in my opinion when a replacement carafe (jug) ought to be available...without buying a complete apparatus.

I bought this as an upgrade to a Mr. Coffee that finally broke. This is just as easy to use, takes up less space, and makes a better pot of coffee. I buy good coffee beans and I feel like I am getting the most out of them, without any additional fuss.

An Unpretentious Upgrade

GREAT BUY

I bought this for a few reasons. One - a coffee maker that makes two big cups of coffee. I don't need a huge machine. Two - It's short and compact because the filter is in the cup. Three - it's a beautiful design and I don't mind having it on my countertop and looking at it.

In terms of functionality, you get coffee in about 5-7 minutes. It carefully sprays out hot water and I think you can really taste the difference in your coffee - it makes it richer.  Overall, I'm very pleased. If you drink multiple cups of coffee, buy the bigger model.

Best coffee maker I've ever owned - BUY IT!

Love it.  This is a replacement for a sturdy & reliable earlier Zutto that is not yet retired. I wanted another one while it was on my mind.  I love the style, the size, and convenience to set it up the night before and press a button to get my first cuppa!

BEST coffeemaker I've found

Very compact, easy to use and the coffee tastes great! Because the basket sits in the pot rather than above, it only brews 5 cups, but it tastes great and you can always brew another pot. I would actually give it 4.5 stars because I prefer stainless steel to glass carafes for durability and keeping the coffee warm, but since it is so small the coffee doesn't sit in the pot long. Also, there is no auto shut-off. I see it as a nice midpoint between a French Press and a standard coffee maker.

Compact coffee maker great for small pots

Love this coffee pot. I recently bought another so my wife could have one too. I like that it's compact and fits nicely underneath the cabinets. I like the water tank which is easily removable for filling. Sturdy and have not had any problems at all and I've owned the first coffee pot for about 5 years. The coffee pot has an easy-to-replace filter. The only feature that I wish that the coffee pot had was an automatic shut off. The coffee pot stays on to keep the coffee warm, but I still would like for the coffee off to automatically shut off in about 2 hours. Overall, a very reliable coffee pot. I generally do not leave product reviews but I have been so happy with this coffee pot, I felt it was necessary to reveal my review.

Five Star Coffee Pot

I liked this coffee pot for the following reasons:

Easy to use 
Easy to clean  - pop in dishwasher 
no fancy buttons/ frills just a  quick consistent great cup of coffee no matter what coffee brand I used.
Keeps coffee hot for a while ( I wish it had as shut off feature)
However for 3 people this 5 cup pot goes pretty fast 
I'd say perfect for  two people .

Note: once the coffee is made  it's best take off the filter ( top part) then pour to a void drips - if you don't then keep your fingers on  the top otherwise it may fall out when pouring .

Good coffee pot for two people

I've been using one of these for about 10 years.  Actually, I'm on my second one.  The first one died after about 6 years of daily use.  I'm the only one in the house that drinks coffee, so the size is perfect for me.  It makes very good coffee, but of course, the best coffee beans make the best tasting brew.  There are two things that I don't like.  One is that there is no auto shutoff.  Not a really big deal for me, but some might find it a serious issue.  The other problem is that the carafe drips with almost every pour, so I have to pour over the sink and wipe off the carafe before placing it back on the plate.  Both of my carafes have done this and I think this is a problem with every one of them.  Otherwise, I really like the machine.  It is easy to use, and ease to clean.  Makes great coffee!

Very good coffee maker.

Requires #2 filter that MUST be folded two times in order to fit the basket,
When basket is removed to pour coffee, lid does not secure to carafe (falls off, hot coffee spilled = burned skin = unsafe 
Leave coffee basket in place and pour, lid stays secure and now grinds mixed in with coffee.
Requesting a return and full refund.  Bummer it was rated in Cooks Illustrated reason why I bought it.
