Awesome loft bed.  Like the 2 ladders.  Took about 2 1/2 hours to assemble by myself.  

Couple pointers.   Pay close attention to the ladders orientation and part J.  Also, order some grip tape for the ladders, they are super slippery with socks on.   

Other than that I would say this is a solid built piece.  The height under the bed is about 60 inches.  The desk sits a little high so plan on a height adjustable chair.

I did lots of internet research before purchasing. This was the best bang for my buck. Free site to store shipping was a bonus. My 7 year old and I put it together in 1 day. The desk is a great added feature. I recommend buying the 6 inch mattress from Wal Mart. This was not offered when I purchased the loft and I bought a regular mattress and it is a 10 inch mattress and would have preferred the 6 inch one.

Best bang for your buck

I read the reviews and bought it. One scratch that you can't even see in the desktop. Other than that, it is exactly what it says. My husband and oldest son put it together in less that 2 hours for our 10 year old. He is in Bed Heaven. I swore I would never own another bunk bed because changing the sheets is such a pain but he's old enough now to do most of the work himself. His room is so tiny this study area is perfect and has enough room to put his dresser under there also.
We are ALL very happy with this purchase and bought the full size mattress recommended for this bed. We are pleased with the mattress, too.

Kid loves it!

We just bought our daughter (9) a new double/full size 8" mattress for her old frame and had no intentions of buying a new bed for another year.  But because of unforeseen circumstances, we decided to get her a loft bed that she's been begging for, and also a desk for her room.  The only problem was the new mattress we just bought and the limited options of loft beds in that size.  We found this bed which was perfect...full size loft bed AND a desk...plus it was on sale!  She was so excited when her bed arrived that I put it up that night by myself.  It took me less than 3 hours and the instructions were easy to follow.  She loves everything about it!  Is it a little wobbly?  Yes, a little...more so if your jerking around our bouncing in it, but nothing that concerned me about safety, and nothing was falling over on the desk shelves from it moving.  The ladder steps are a little uncomfortable, but not preventing her from using them, but I will look into getting a set of angled step to make it a little easier.  We like it and all the features it provides, it looks nice,  and it will definitely serve its purpose for the next couple of years.

Exactly what we were looking for!

It very sturdy and looks great. It took about 1.5 hours to put together. Better if you use a power drill which we did. The work space is nice and wide and the shelves are great too.

My 14 year old d daughter loves this bed!

This is a great bed... We had some trouble getting some of the screws in, in the first steps. Wound up getting them into the holes at the very last step... everything else had to be tight to get them in.

Fairly straight forward to assemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's for my son who is 8 years old . It wa a fairly easy to assemble . My husband and I did it together in about 2 hours . Everything is labeled nicely . My only concern is that the ladder spindles hurt your feet and it's hard to get up and down ladder . It wobble a little and makes me a little nervous but my son isnt concerned.

I had the bed delivered to my local store and then picked it up. I was very pleased with the bed over all. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was a little difficult to put together. In one step the screws didn't line up but it was not bad. It took about 4 hours to put together. The ladders are also kinda small. In all, my daughter is extremely happy with the bed and it is very sturdy.

Great loft bed for the price

Looked at many loft beds but this Abode full size loft at Wal-Mart is by far the best value for the money. Took about 2 hours to assemble. Good instructions. Frame looks durable. Bolts held well. My son loves it!
