I can only give this an excellent rating for ease of ordering, timely shipping, and the fact that the item arrived in good shape.

I will not recommend this item to my friends, as they are all over 50, and usually well into their 60's. The one who should rate this is my grandson, who is going to be nine years old. He won't get the item until sometime in July, so that is why there is no info about how this item performs.

Hope it will be as good as it looks. For the price, we should have gotten him a live parakeet.

Air Hog Flying Bird

It is a gift for a kid off of an angel tree, so I don't know how it works. It looks pretty cool though.

I bought this toy for my sister's 6 year old son and my brother's 11 year old son. They both love anything that flies and were really excited to test out this toy.

The toy itself is flimsy, made from light weight material which I guess is necessary to enable it to fly.

Here are the experiences for both.

I visited a gymnasium with the six year old and his older brother to test out the bird. It wouldn't fly, it fell right out of the air every time we tried. And when it finally did fly it would spiral downward. We avoided taking it outside because it's winter and we figured the weather condition wouldn't be ideal. We were right. For the second test trial outdoors, the bird crashed straight to the pavement and broke. My nephew was devastated. :-(

The 11 year old didn't get the chance to be devastated, it was broken when we took it out of the box. I'll try to return it, but if they claim we broke it, all h*ll will break loose.

We followed the directions, step by step. We even went on youtube to watch how others set it up and learn tips and tricks. I have 7 nephews ranging in age from 6-17 so I have a lot of experience with rc toys. I'm not a beginner.

Avoid this toy.

AVOID: Awful, poorly made toy.

I bought this piece of junk and I went to turn it on and the switch snapped off! After I got it working with a knife for a switch, it wouldn't charge because even after I put new batteries in the remote, it wouldn't turn on when I pushed the on button! Again don't waste your money on this piece of junk go buy something that won't fall apart in the first minute!

Peice of junk!DO NOT BUY!

I got this and have never been able to fly it. It is flaky at best. It just spirals downward even after trimming it out. Support was not able to help at all. I will read reviews first from now on.
