Ratings & Reviews+

Alice Cooper - Raise Your Fist And Yell is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best Alice Cooper albums ever! This is one of the best Alice Cooper albums out there... Prince of Darkness is the best song on this album, along with "Freedom" and "Lock Me Up". In my opinion, Trash is the best album from Alice Cooper. This comes 2nd and Constrictor as 3rd. i'd recommend this album toanybody... and it's cheap! It's only $5.88, so it's fantastic music for a few bucks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Scary, scary Alice After a nearly four year break from recording, Alice returned in 1986 with the album, Constrictor. The Constrictor album was hard rocking but lacked consistency. However, fans loved his return to shock rock and the tour did extremely well. Now fans were ready for a rocking album and Alice delivered on this one. RYFAY was much heavier than Constrictor or any of his previous work up to this point. In 1987, RYFAY marked somewhat of a return to form. There was a teen anthem called "Freedom" and several hard rocking songs. The guitar work on this album was excellent and songs like Chop, Chop, Chop and Gail are Cooper at his best. The only downside for some people is the production and guitar sound is very 80's sounding. If you like the sound of 80's metal then this album will please you. If you are more into his straight hard rock sound, you might want to skip this one. I personally love it.
