The pad is very soft, and feels comfortable. The odor-lock helps keep that stinky feeling away. I didn't have the stickiness problem the other reviewers had, but I wore mine in pantyhose instead of panties - I prefer winged pads when I wear panties. I felt secure wearing these pads and didn't have any leaks or odors.

As much as I really appreciate the odor control, the lack of absorbency was rather disappointing. This particular pad seems to leave you feeling icky and slimy. The original Maxi pads, however, are the best Always has ever made. I guess you cannot improve on perfection! Well, almost perfect by my opinion! : )

Absorbency vs. Odor free

Maybe I just got a bad pack of pads, but this product is a total disappointment! The adhesive would not release from my undergarment, and on a day with heavy flow, this caused the pad to fail as I removed it. I had no choice but to cover the remaining adhesive with another pad since I was not at home.
I'm a longtime supporter of this company and its products, but I feel let down by this one!

not up to Always high standards

I have used Always maxipads for years. Unfortunately the recent changes have me searching for a new brand.

The industrial strength adhesive that is now used on these pads is sticking to the panty fabric and, often times as not, winds up pulling the back off of the pad. Gross! And the times the pad doesn't rip, I'm simply left with a strip of gummy adhesive. Again, gross. All these pads need to do is stay in place...there's no need for them to wind up epoxied to my underwear!

Great product ruined

These are the worst pads I have purchased since being a teenager in the 80's, They do not absorb like the dry weave. They ruined my underwear, because the adhesive strips stay stuck to my underwear.

This is a throwback from 1960

Worst female product I have seen in years! The adhesive actually does not come off of the panties. I tore a small hole in the thin cotton lining of a pair of panties when removing the pad and cotton "dust" from inside the pad went flying everywhere. I hate the top lining as well. It used to be dry weave, but they changed to some thin stuff that does not do the job. Also the pads bunch up soon after you start walking around. Terrible! I will not buy anymore always products until they change it back!

TERRIBLE!

Bought these pads as I have bought always reg maxi pads w/o wings for as long as i can remember... can't find regular ones anymore :( this product may work for odor-lock but does not work for absorbency... a little TMI but i haven't had to deal with messes for probably ten years or more and i've tried two of these pads and had messes with both... now what to do with remaining package ?! Went to general store brand and they work much much better. Help Always - Loved your product for years but not using if reg don't come back!!!

Messiest Ever!!!

This new soft cover/leak guard maxi pad is very bad. No subtsance here. Feels more like a no-name brand pad.

Please keep the Regular Always Maxi pads as those are far better!

Weak maxi pad

The adhesive issue is a MAJOR problem. Part of the pad comes apart when you try to pull it off, & the adhesive stays on your underwear. These pads will RUIN your underwear!

Please discontinue this product immediately!
