I actually prefer this litter over almost all others. Mainly due to the reasonable price and the fact that it's such a great litter that i can use it with two adult male cats and can even mix it (half %26 half) w/ much cheaper, less effective kitty litters (like Special Kitty) %26 still have a solid product that greatly curbs smells %26 is still a good clumping litter. It also lasts a bit longer than you'd think it would, %26 by mixing it half %26 half %26 sprinkling it heavily with baking soda, you increase your savings and prolong the times in been cleanings and litter changes. And the cats seem to like it this way, too, because it gives them a decent smelling restroom for much longer and reduces chances of running out before you can afford to buy more! I live in a fairly small apartment so smells have a way of traveling throughout it quite easily, so maintaining litter-box cleanliness is very important to having an odor free home, and this litter as well as my own unique methods of using it make it possible to maintain an odor free and happy kitty home.

For years I used Special Kitty Litter but their formula changed and it became so dusty I couldn't tolerate dust everywhere. So I tried  Fresh Step which is less dusty and smells great
 Arm and Hammer wasthe best. No dust and a fresh fragrance. Cats like it. The only thing was the container, kind of awkward.  I poured it in one of the other plastic containers of other brand using a funnel.

I have other used other cat litter. We have three cats ones an outside cat that comes in most of the time and she goes out but for the value I think for the price is a good value. I've checked out some of the others and a couple of them I used I didn't really care for so I just continue to go back to Armen Hammer.

I have been very pleased with this cat litter. The odor control is excellent and helps keep the litter box area smelling fresh between cleanings. The scented formula is not overpowering, but it does a good job of helping control unpleasant odors.

The litter clumps quickly and forms solid clumps that are easy to scoop without falling apart. This makes daily cleaning much easier and helps the litter last longer. I also noticed very little waste compared to some other brands I have tried.

Overall, this is a dependable cat litter that provides good odor control, strong clumping performance, and great value for the price. I would definitely purchase it again.

Great Odor Control and Strong Clumping Action

I used to use Fresh Step but they changed their stuff %26 it doesn't clump like it used to do figured I'd try this out 1st %26 have to say it works GR8.  Litter box smell is at bay, doesn't swarm me n dust when filling the box, clumps the best.  This is my %231 choice now

This is actually really GREAT kitty litter… I'm only withholding a star because I have fallen in love with the SLIDE version. Ok, sooo I didn't actually withhold a star. Because the product did what it's meant to do and for that EXACT reason I still mix it in the box.. with the SLIDE STUFF on the bottom just to get the best of both worlds treatment.

This was the first Arm %26 Hammer scoopable litter we tried. It works well, but odor control was not the best. After reading other reviews we tried Arm%26Hammer Clump and Seal . It's a little pricey,but controls odor better and scoops easier, so we consider it worth the difference in price. We  currently have growing kittens in the house, so ease of use and odor control is our first consideration.

Good for the price

I've been using this litter for a while and it works well; it clumps well and my cats use it. However, it tracks pretty badly and it's scented, which is not recommended for cats as they have very sensitive respiratory systems. The odor control is decent.

Good litter, but unfortunately scented

First time using this brand   of litter and sooo NOT EVER PURCHASING THIS LITTER AGAIN!!! The litter (after the 1st time my cat used it) was sooo hard to scoop (like gooey clay) It took me about 15 minutes to SCOOP it!!!!!DEFINITELY NOT PURCHASING THIS BRAND AGAIN

This is the worst cat litter that I have ever used. It's the equivalent to glorified sand with baking soda a air freshener mixed in. A 20lb box lasted 4 days not 10 days like advertised even after scooping the debris  out of the  litter box twice a day and replinishing to the suggested level. Very disappointed for as much as Arm %26 Hammer charges for this inept product..
