Design

This is my second "Bistro". The first, purchased in 2013, died in combat because my cat could insert its legs into the opening from which food comes out. The new one seems to have a one-way flap preventing the cat from inserting its legs.

Good purchase

We bought this product as we sometimes leave our cat alone overnight and needed a way to know he was being fed. This product fills that demand. Multiple quantities and times are available to program.

Excellent product

I bought this product and am very satisfied. I can leave the house with a quiet head without worrying about the next day for the distribution of pet food.

Super

Very good purchase, can program up to three meals per day from 2 cups to 1/4, very convenient to leave a few days without worry and low battery warning.

Love this product. Bought it for my cat who I feed 3 times a day and it works amazing. Just the right amount needed as well. No worries if we are away he is taken care of.

Great Features

We had an earlier model, this is a improved model. They addressed several shortcomings of the earlier model. Improved the base, it regulates food better. It works very well but we have only had it for about a month.

I am disappointed that the amount of food that falls is not accurate. Also, if you drink the dispenser, food falls. If the animal puts its paw in the outlet of food, it falls a little. I wish the bass was heavier to keep my cat from moving it and dropping kibble.

Disappointing

I recently bought the Aspen dispenser and have used it 2-3 times successfully. I have a little pussy that eats morning and evening so when I am away for short stays for work, I am reassured with the machine! It does, however, distribute more generous portions of kibble (even the smallest portion chosen) but it is still perfect and very useful. I don't like to go for more than 3 days... to see!

Leave with peace of mind!

I bought this dispenser and used it for two months. It's not a very smart design because it's transparent. It's easy for us to see if there's food inside, which is convenient for us, but the problem is, my dog can see that too. So he goes crazy at the machine because he can see the food inside, and he basically tried everything to try and open the lid to get more food. It should not be clear to improve this product.

It should have a better design

This system will randomly dispense food at times that are not set. Ultimately defeating the purpose of having it. Now my fat cat is getting fed MORE instead of getting measured amounts. It will also dispense more than it is set for. If the unit is moved it will also release some food. My cat has figured this out. The cat gives this 5 stars, I would give it none if I could.
