The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold-water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, weve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. The water dispensing area measures 9x3.25x10 inches with a height of 7 inches below the spouts to accommodate most large cups and bottles. I’ve had this Avalon countertop water dispenser for about 9 months now, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. I read some reviews before buying that mentioned leaks starting after a while, but I took a closer look once I unboxed it and found the issue: the internal rubber tubing is only secured with zip ties from the factory. Those can weaken over time and eventually cause leaks.

Before I even used the machine, I removed the outer casing (super easy), cut off all the zip ties, and replaced them with metal hose clamps (the screw-tightening kind you can get at any hardware store - cheap and reliable). Since making that simple upgrade, I haven’t had a single issue. No leaks, great water flow, and both the hot and cold options work perfectly.

So, if you're handy and don’t mind making a quick tweak, this is a solid unit that works great and looks sleek on the counter. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my classroom, and it has been a great addition to the space! The hot water is very hot, and the safety is a great feature. I would definitely hit the hot water by accident while reaching for the cold in the orientation I have it set up in. Needless to say, very grateful.

I love it!  The water is nice and cold and the hot water feature is so handy for tea and cups of noodles.  Don’t have to wait for a kettle to boil.

I love everything about this dispenser except the cooling unit is so loud. We had to shut it off due to how annoyingly loud the humming of the condenser is. We use it for on-demand hot water and room temp water.

It seems as though I can't register the product unless I leave a review first. I'm not going to leave a good review for a product I just purchased.

This is the third one (heating element went out on last one), but I keep coming back. Support team is typically good-didn’t respond last time regarding the heating element. I just use this product multiple times a day-so it gets a lot of use.

The water in my water cooler started freezing, which most likely means it needs a new thermostat, but unfortunately, that would cost the same as buying a new cooler. I will never buy this company brand again. The last water cooler I bought from a different company lasted me for 12 years.
