It has been working fine for two months now (hence two stars instead of one), but I have a few complaints. While my PS/2 keyboard supports NKRO, (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Key_rollover), this adapter hobbles it such that it only supports 1KRO. That means that I can't press two keys at the same time. For example, if I'm pressing W to move forward in a video game, then I tap space to jump, I'll jump, but I'll also stop moving forward.

I verified that this is occurring by using a GNU/Linux tool called xev and comparing its output in three different conditions:

1) PS/2 keyboard with adaptor
2) PS/2 keyboard plugged into a PS/2 port on my other computer
3) My laptop's built in keyboard

Furthermore, as a rapid typist, with this 1KRO limitation, I find that key strokes are occasionally missed because with certain key combinations in certain words, and when using the numeric keypad, I have a tendency to depress the second key before I've completely released the first key. For weeks I'd chalked up my increase in typing errors to poor habits from having to use a laptop keyboard for so long, until I fired up Minecraft and discovered the 1KRO issue (but not before wasting over a day installing and uninstalling and trying different versions of Minecraft and Java before it finally occurred to me that that might not be a software issue).

Another issue is that the plug's PS/2 connection seems weak and flaky. For example, earlier today my mouse stopped working and it took a few tries of unplugging it and plugging it back in to get it to work again. Normally this issue doesn't get to that point, but about once a day I do notice my keyboard's 3 lights (num lock, caps lock, and scroll lock) flash, as if it were unplugged and then plugged back in.

As the cherry on top, this adapter has two mouse icons on it instead of one mouse icon and one keyboard icon (see my attached photo), which is evidence of poor attention to detail on axGear's part.

Cheap but works
