Awesome Toy,when it arrived the box was wet from shipping. so i opened it up and took the toy out to see if it was wet...Thankfully it was not.so i turned it on to make sure it worked...30 minutes later,i stopped playing with it...lol.....Great Learning Toy and FUN.

This is a great toy! I never saw it in a store, but stumbled upon it online.  Age range on the box says 6-36 months but I bought it for my 10 month old grandson and it's perfect! There are many good things about it. First of all, it is touch sensitive. One only needs to touch anywhere within the colorful "boxes" for it to react. There are two volume settings but both are quite low and easy on the ears. The music is quite soothing. The names for colors, animals, and instruments can be in English, French or Spanish. 
After seeing my grandson enjoy it, I ordered three more of the same toy for other babies I know!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Baby Einstein Cal's Smart Sounds Symphony Magic Touch Electronic Activity Toy has been a fun developmental toy for my baby. There are three play modes that include instruments such as drums and piano, the standard rainbow colors, a fun mix of animals and a freestyle mode. This toy also has English, Spanish and French modes which is exciting for introducing baby to new languages. The images are painted onto the wood, so you do not need to worry about it peeling up easily. There is a plastic handle that makes this easy to grab and go for both kids and adults. The pictures can be touched to play the instrument or hear the color, or the blue button can be pressed in the middle for a random color or instrument. This is an incredibly fun and educational toy for little ones.

It has three play modes and they are instrument mode introduces instrument name and sound, color/animal mode lets baby hear the names of the color and animal and then a freestyle mode. It also introduces languages like English, Spanish and French. It can be used as a floor toy or as a table top play surface as baby grows. It makes music with just a touch and there is no buttons. It is fun to touch and play. Even my 5 year old uses it to learn the name of the animals and colors in Spanish and French. It is a good quality product.

fun to play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smart symphony provided the kids with a very easy way to experience music.  I placed it on the freestyle mode for my 17 month old for him to tap each picture and hear the way various instruments sound.  For my daughter, who is 2.5 years old, I set it to the colors and instrument names so that she could practice naming them all.

There was three different languages this toy can be set to which is unique.  It is something that we all can learn from since we are not fluent in Spanish and French.

The buttons to go between the different play modes as well as the volume and on button were easy to move that my daughter could push it up and down.  The wood design makes this seem like it will hold up well and has survived a few drops on the floor so far.  The handle is great but is on the short side so only very little fingers can fit in easily.

Play For Infant to Toddler

I like the handle that makes it easy and portable for my son to carry. Easy touch features so that there are no frustrating buttons for babies. I would definitely recommend!

Great musical toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this toy! It has a nice, wood feel and the magic touch technology is very responsive. Great quality! We have other magic touch toys and they have all been a big hit. The pictures are so cute, and the music is pretty and melodic—-which is surprisingly not the norm in children's toys! I think it's nice that you can switch between English, Spanish and French. My 5 year old and 1 year old both love it. Early exposure to music and languages is very important to me, and I love that Baby Einstein makes that so easy and fun.

We love the part where you can start with one instrument and add others. Also teaches colors and has 3 language selections. Very easy to push buttons, it's more like just a touch. My Kids Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cal's Smart Sounds Symphony Magic Touch Electronic Activity Toy is turning out to be a delightful toy for my son. My son is 9 months old, and I have to admit when we put it in the floor with his other toys he did not pay much attention to it. We tried to get him interested by showing him but he just went to his other toys. One time he was sitting on the high chair and my daughter brought him the toy. He started to hit it after my daughter did and happily played with it. This toy is like a flat disc that is very easy to activate with the touch of the baby hand. My son was loving it on the higher chair after he was able to focus in on it. There are only pictures and small rim of shining lights that okay to the tune or sounds on the disk. This does not use traditional buttons which may be the reason why my son did not know what to do as first. It just a flat sensor with photos. My son is really into me sic and buttons but after he figures this out he really enjoys the lights and music coming on. There three Language options for Spanish, French, and English. There are also options for okay time with colors, music, and animals. The tune are delightful and not too loud. My son has a great time with this toy and we have been using it for when he is in the higher characters r for a few minutes. The toy is light weight and easy to carry and travel with as well. Overall, I recommend this product for babies around 19 months old. We will see how my son continues interest but this has him smiling for now.
