When you need an old, sharp cheddar for cooking, I find this is a much better choice than the typically available block cheeses and other cheddars at conventional food stores. It's got a great texture, melts well and adds the right amount of flavor. Good, slightly premium alternative than making an additional shop at a specialty store when you need an old cheddar.

It is great tasing Cheddar. Best if sliced thinly with a cheese slicer and placed on a slice of hot toast. Then, wait 30 seconds for the Cheddar to warm slightly. Only then take bite and taste this great tasting cheddar. The aroma from the cheddar will want you to have a second toast with this great Cheddar.

Great tasting Cheddar

We love the quality of Balderson Cheese.  This cheese has that perfect sharpness you expect from well aged cheddar.  The texture is firm yet creamy. It is great for snacking, cooking or pairing with crackers and fruit.

This brand is one of the best tasting quality cheeses of all the similar products on the market. I would also recommend their Aged varieties - 1,2,3,4, 5 and 6 years, depending on personal preference.

Perfect for nachos

As a lover of old cheeses, I just don't know what happened to Balderson. This old cheese seems overly greasy and soft and not at all what you expect from an old cheese. Would love to see more dry crumbly old cheese from Balderson.
