My daughter absolutely loved this product. She enjoyed choosing the 3 different songs for it to dance to. When Barbie was sat on the horse, she mainly role played the horse walking around, but when we put Barbie standing next to the horse, she loved them both dancing together. It is such a versatile toy because both the horse and Barbie can be played with separately. She loved brushing and styling both the horse and Barbies hair. The fact that Barbies legs bend and move is a great feature as she can be sat on shelves etc. The whole product was an absolute hit and we love playing with it because it is so interactive.

My 2 daughters aged 7 and 3 loved this. They both love playing with barbies and dancing, so they thought it was brilliant that Barbie could dance with a horse! The horse is lovely quality compared to other Barbie horses they have played with. The Barbie herself is great and they loved that her joints were articulated so she could move around loads. They love playing with this as a set and also individually with their other Barbies.

Great toy.

When my 4 year old daughter opened the parcel she could not believe her eyes! She had seen this advertised and had asked for it as she has recently really got into Barbies. It has been played with everyday. Before school, after school and last thing before bed! Its nice that you can have Barbie either standing to dance with her horse, or sitting on the horse. The horses hair is silky soft and my daughter loves brushing this and adding tiny pretty clips to it. There is a few different songs for them to dance to. Barbie also comes with a riding hat to wear. Her feet can fit into the stirrups, and she can hold onto the reins properly. All in all, a really well made and fun toy that will last while being played with every day. A must for any little girl.

Fun toy that is played with everyday

This toy is so much fun! After watching the movie over and over we bought this for my 4 year old for Christmas. She hasn't stopped playing with it since she opened the box! The music is really cute and it's easy for her to switch the positions of the toy

My daughter loves this!

Our 3 year old daughter loves the barbie and horse set it has kept her entertained for hours. The quality is very good and has withstood our daughter boisterous play. 

Would highly recommend this as there is more to do with it than just watch the horse dance, our daughter loves to do barbie and the horses hair, dress barbie and it's a welcome accessory to the other barbie in the range.

Kept my 3 year old entertained for ages

I ordered this for my granddaughter's 6th birthday as she had asked for a 'horse for Barbie'. When she opened it her eyes lit up. She played with it for awhile and when i got my goodnight kiss, I asked her if she liked her present.  She said, 'Nana, I don't like it'--and then she threw her arms around me and yelled, 'I love it'. That pretty much says it all!

WOW!

Since Barbie and her dancing horse have arrived at our house she has been very popular with both my children. Inspired by the new movie 'Barbie & Her Sisters in a Puppy Chase' the horse plays 3 different songs and dances along to each one at the push of a button on it's mane. The horse also dances much to the delight of my children.

We attached Barbie to the side of the horse using the waist and feet clips and we also clipped her on to the saddle so she could dance along with her horse.. We watched the horse dance solo which was just as much fun. Barbies colourful outfit matches perfectly to the horses neck collar, bridle and reins which are inspired by the tropical setting of the movie.

My children did require some help attaching Barbie to the horse as the process was a bit fiddly for their little hands.
 
I found both the horse and Barbie doll to be good quality and very durable which means I don't have to worry about too much about a little rough play.

We are looking forward to adding some of the other range from the movie to our collection soon.

Fun Dancing Together

My daughter loves this. It is really easy to make the horse dance and she thinks its great when Barbie dances along side it. Its a bit unsteady on carpet but works fine on hard surfaces like a table or wooden floor. Great fun and keeps her entertained for ages.

Good fun

My girls were very excited when this arrived! The toy looks great in the packaging and once opened (with help from mum) the horse and barbie dance together when using the attachments. My7 year old found this easy to do. The barbie can either dance alongside the horse or sit on top. There are three different songs the horse sings. To operate there is a big button in the mane that is easy to press. The horse takes 4 AA batteries. All in all a great toy that I should built to last and a perfect addition to our barbie collection!

Lots of fun!

Such a great toy, it is played daily in our house ever since we got it!
My daughter (almost 4 years old) was so excited when the parcel arrived. The packaging was very appealing, a big clear box with lots of demonstrations and pictures. For the first time, my daughter actually wanted to look closely every single picture on the box, before opening it. She was that fascinated!
The unboxing wasn't simple, I had to use scissors to take out Barbie and the horse. Then had to use the scissors again to remove the little cable tie from the horse's hair. It was quite tricky to do it, tried very hard not to pull the horse's hair! 
I must say I was very impressed with how sturdy and well made this toy is! The horse proportions are great and looks like the manufacturer thought very closely of all the details! Barbie is fashionable, pretty with long blond hair - my daughter loved her right away. Barbie herself can't stand on her own, just on or next to the horse which was a bit disappointing. 
While I was getting some batteries and a screwdriver to operate the music, my daughter kept herself busy with her new toy! She was combing the horse's hair, changed the Barbie's hair style and danced with her! Next she took both of them for a walk around the house! Let's just say I took my time here :)
Finally, few minutes later the new toy was ready! My daughter knew what to do (just like she saw on the box) and pressed the button on the horse's head. It was dancing on its own, the music was nice and my daughter was very happy. It took this toy into a new fun level. There are three different tunes, each lasts less than a minute. The rhythm wasn't annoying or loud (thank you for that!), just nice really. She was dancing and jumping happily with Barbie in her arms. Then we tried the other two options: Barbie riding on the horse and next to the horse, using the attachments. Both very enjoyable and fun to watch, she couldn't switch between the options by herself though. It is best to let it operate it on a hard floor rather than carpet, to keep it stable. 
I love the fact that it is unique, never saw anything similar to it before. I also love the fact that my daughter was able to do a role play and enjoy this toy without the batteries. It is a great toy for a role play and a fun toy for the younger ones too. My almost two year old figured out very quickly what to do and enjoyed it so much. I'd say this toy would be great for all those girlish girls out there. I love it too!

Hours of fun!

I bought this for our granddaughter and thought I should equip it with the batteries and give it a try before wrapping it up for her-- because the last Barbie I bought with the accompanying dog didn't work when we wound it up.  No music with this horse...just a brief jerk of the leg once in a while.  Mattel needs to get some quality control going!
