Ratings & Reviews+

Barbra Streisand - Back To Brooklyn is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still on top of her game..... As a long time Barbra Streisand fan I've begun to think that one of the 20th century's greatest voices may have lost a bit of its punch and her last few albums seemed to underscore that. The last release "Release Me" was a montage of former recordings from 20 - 30 years ago which had never been released (all good) but were recorded when that magnificent voice was young and at its best. This Back to Brooklyn album surprised me - for while indeed she isn't the unbelievable singer she was at 40 years old - she's still better than almost anyone else. While I hate your politics Barbra and sincerely wish you would stick to what you do better than almost anyone I cannot ignore your magnificent voice. As one of your numbers from this album suggests: "You're The Tops"...... David - Las Vegas
