I've been using barePro mineral foundation for years, as I find it comfortable on my rosacea prone skin and it provides the perfect colour & coverage, without irritation. I've tried alternatives, but prefer powder, as liquid foundations seem to clog my pores & increase irritation and though it may cost more than other brands, it lasts for months, even if used daily and gives, I believe, value for money.

Comfort & coverage at good value.

Lovely, almost creamy looking foundation when on. Goes on very easily and one pass covers all, unlike the previous formulation. Got compliments first time i used it. Definitely better than the original, which is not always the case with reformulations. Would definitely recommend. My only regret is buying one of the older ones before this which.i will now have to.use up, but once you have tried the new one you won't want to go back.

Fantastic foundation

Can't fault it! It feels smooth and silky with a slight creaminess to it. It goes onto skin effortlessly with the enclosed applicator and stays looking good for the whole day. 
I would recommend that you fully cleanse your face first as it doesnt go on well to oily or sweaty skin.

Outstanding

I think the foundation is going to be okay once I get the colour right. I used the shade match chart and chose the equivalent shade to the previous version of the foundation (which was the perfect colour) but it is slightly too dark and a bit on the orangy side. This is annoying because of wasting the money.

Colour not quite right

I'm sure there's a good reason why BM changed the formula and colour names of their barepro, but it certainly isn't for the better. This is more like powder, less like foundation, just not nearly as good as it was.

Bring back the old one!

There was not a loose powder of my colour available due to stock issues, so I purchased a different product after testing in store as I love the bare minerals products. 

However the powder in the compact has all broken up really quickly, if the compact was slightly deeper set it wouldn't be such a problem but it's just making a mess and I'm loosing product which is expensive.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shade is too light for my complexion. I would have returned it but my daughter threw away the packaging before I had a chance to try on the product. I'm a teacher and don't have enough disposable income to buy another one anytime soon! I mistakenly ordered the Medium Deep (Cool) instead of the Medium Dark (Warm).

I was late to discover that the old BarePro powder compact was being replaced.  However I had confidence in Bareminerals and bought the recommended corresponding shade in the new 16H version.  I'm so disappointed.  Within two days the compact has broken up, resulting in my losing lots of expensive foundation and creating annoying mess.  On top of which the formulation is nothing like the fine, luxurious, buildable finish of the old BarePro.  Even the most careful dab or light swipe of the brush picks up so much product, that it's very difficult to build in the same way and coupled with the crumbling effect which only seems to worsen as time goes on, means that it very wasteful as you almost always use or lose more powder than you need.  The colour (Fair 15 Neutral for the old Aspen) is also not the same as the old one - the tone is more orange and of course this isn't helped by the inability to apply very fine layers.  What on earth have you done, Bareminerals?!  I use a huge range of BareMinerals skincare and makeup and have never been so thoroughly disappointed, it's a real turn-off that the company has produced such a poor product.  This claggy, disintegrating foundation isn't a patch on the old BarePro.
