I owned the first Bartesian with 4 reservoirs and though this was a pretty good price for a reduction in reservoirs. This Duet gets the job done and can do all capsules except the Long Island Iced Tea. He reduced footprint and cheaper price made this decision well worth it. The screen is easy to use and the cleaning procedures are all the same. I will note that this version does have the updated reservoirs that don't leak at all, compared to the original Bartesian. Give this unit a try.

Small yet mighty.

I've had my eye on the original for a while but I'm not a huge drinker nor entertainer. The moment I saw the duet, I was sold. So far I love it - easy to use, the drinks are tasty, decent servings, and it's cheaper in the long run than having drinks at a bar or restaurant.

Love it!

I bought this as a gift for my husband right, but forgot to buy the pods when I first got it 😂. So when we finally got a chance to use it, I was fixing a hot tea for myself. Husband says "I'm about to try my machine." No sooner than I grabbed my tea cup and honey, his drink was finished being made. He loves that it takes absolutely no time for the drinks to be made, and the drinks are actually pretty good. I love the fact that you can adjust how strong you want your drink to be with ease. The stand is sold separately, but worth buying!

Great gift for husbands!

I had this item in my cart since November and been sold out. Finally was able to purchase and it was worth the wait. I did not want to order anything elese until Walmart said it was shipped. I ordered from my local Wal-Mart and they sent me a email saying my order was canceled 😞.  Now in January I was able to get.  Had to buy the capsules from the Bartesian website.

Worth the wait

Bartender but simple. You don't have to guess what goes with what because the machine is simple. You can switch between use of different spirits. I M set up for Vodka and Tequila. I'll try Rum next. The Maxine is easy to use just turn the dial and press down to enter your selection. The setup is similar to that of a Keurig regarding the pods. Inserting the glass bottles is easy but removing them can be a fuss. It does leak but not bad (a few drips after). I purchased serval capsules and will rate them on my Instagram when complete (iamsharonda1). Overall I'm satisfied and I anticipate getting plenty use throughout the year. I also has a mocktail option which is great although I haven't tried it. The machine itself does make a noise when processing the beverage but that's to be expected. I think it's a great wedding gift or housewarming. My main gripe is having no bag for transport and Bartesian only offering the pull out capsule storage for the larger size. I have enjoyed testing the Margaritas out. So far blackberry is winning out of margarita, and mango. Maybe I should have added some lime with the margarita but either way I can see myself using this 3 times a week. Bartesian if you read this please make a pink version and send it to me. I'll gladly review it on social media. Tip-read your manual (setup, first use, and rinse and key programs).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So excited when I received my Bartesian Duo and I set it up right away. Very easy directions for set up and was ready to use in minutes! Such fun! My husband and I like cocktails, and usually have them at our son's place. We don't usually bother at home —- until Bartesian! It's a fantastic invention much like a Keurig coffee machine. A few more choices to make, easy to get used to. I tried the Lemon up with vodka (see pictures) on regular strength, it was perfect over ice! I can't wait to try the other flavors… of course in moderation… which might be hard at first!!
There is some regular maintenance to clean, but worth it. We're in our 60's and it's about time we treat ourselves! Treat yourself to the investment and just have fun with it.

Super easy, convenient, versatile and FUN!!!

Good little machine for making cocktails with two different liquors, just inconvenient to have to order the pods online. Could also have a larger variety of flavors of pods. Extra glass bottles to purchase for the liquors would make it easier to switch for making a larger variety of drinks.

Good little machine could use more variety

THIS MACHINE IS HORRIBLE JUST GOT IT AND IT DOES NOT WORK VERY MUCH UPSET A WAY OF 250 with the mixers wasted a whole box to see if it will work

DO NOT BUY

So unfortunately I bought this a few months ago and never tried it. Well today was disappointment day because basically straight out the box. It doesn't work and all I can do is pray the warranty will hold up. I literally just set this up and can't even use it. Smh
