Bell FootPumper Pump is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 66.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Bought this product for cheap ($10) and after using it for a week, it started twisting. Its difficult to keep it stable on the floor and i had to use one leg to hold it down and the other to pump. The rubber comes off easily as someone said earlier. This is very inconvenient. I am going to buy a hand pump for 3 times the price and hope i get my money's worth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time I had a good one of these for several years before it died this year. I even inflated car tires with it!!! But the last 2 that I've gotten in the last 4 months only lasted one or two uses. The first broke when I accidentally dropped it on some asphalt and broke the gauge. The LAST ONE I'LL BUY FROM BELL, EVER just had the psi gauge SNAP off while I was using it today. This isn't the only Bell product I've had issues with. I think I'll see if I can find a Schwinn.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy, spend $7 more and get a better one. This pump is just flimsy and even dangerous. When pumping at high pressure, the foot pedal tends to want to veer off to either side and pop up with some force. Save yourself some frustration and buy a better pump.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke on First Use! We bought this pump to use for bike tires, basketballs, etc. It comes with two adapters, both plastic. The needle adapter went into a basketball without issue, pumped up the ball well. However, it snapped off when we tried to remove it and promptly deflated the ball! Tried for 45" to remove the needle remnants from the ball without success. Unable to unscrew the broken needle adapter from the pump. Now we're left without a pump and without a basketball. Hunk of junk - save your $.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product is no longer as pictured on Web Page I have been through three or four of these pumps over the last ten years. Although they were well constructed in general and fairly sturdy, the round plastic pressure gauge tended to break off if you were not careful with the unit. The ones I owned in the past were identical to the red pump pictured on the Walmart web site. However, I just purchased a new unit for my son to use and it looks like Bell has changed the design of this item. The new model is completely different in appearance from the item pictured on the Walmart web site. It is black rather than red, it has a different pressure gauge (still plastic though) which will hopefully be sturdier than the one on the old red model and the mechanism to hold the unit shut when not in use has changed (the old model had a relatively flimsy metal clip that slipped over one of the two legs on the pump, the new model has a larger metal clip that slips over the black foot pad (it looks sturdier than the old clip). Bell has also apparently eliminated the small rubber pads/feet from the bottom back of the unit. I don't believe that will materially affect the operation of the unit, however, you may want to be careful when using the pump indoors (when playing basketball for example) since the bare metal might possible scratch wood or composite flooring. Bottom Line is that this is a very inexpensive foot pump and as long as you treat it as such, it should meet your needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good pump Use rubber mat or carpet under pump for stability. Use steady, smooth, deliberate leg strokes. Avoid crimping of hose anywhere. Do this and you'll enjoy this pump like I do. It's compact and fits in my knapsack while riding my bike and much easier to pump tires to those higher psi numbers than handpumps. Guage is nice but use as a guide so carry an extra air pressure guage for accuracy. For 15 bucks I'm happy.
