I got for the storm to carry as a flash light and light for room when the power was out. it wirked great and puts off a bright light. 
as far as a undermount cabinet, i have nothing to add sunce u didn't use for that. i would recommend the light because of it's brightness.

These lights are a great convenience. We use ours in a darker corner under kitchen cabinets for buffet-style family dinners. The simple swipe of your hand to turn the lights on or off is an appealing feature. I would purchase again and I recommend for multiple uses.

Instant Light

I bought these to place throughout house in case of hurricane loss of power.
I've come to appreciate them on daily basis.
They are placed to light my path during nighttime movement.
With motion sensors, they are available as needed.
with battery option, thet are backup for loss of power.

These lights are thin and very bright. I love that they sent an option of how to use them. Wired or battery powered.. 
Great for under cabinet kitchen lighting.

Very good over all, just the sticky is not as good, it comes off too quick, I would say screws to attach the lights to cabinets is a better option. Easy to install, bright enough, sensor works well. I do recommend it.

Good product

Works best if you plug it in. Which defeats the purpose for my situation. Too many cords and a big battery box get in the way if using it under a cabinet. Light is good though!!!

Meh.

Cord is too short. It isnt rechargeable unless you buy rechargeable batteries for it. The light has magnets on back and comes with metal pieces to stick to the surface you want. Problem is the magnets fall out. Even after using super glue. Any warmth at all, and they release. There is no other way to mount them so they are useless.

Dont waste your money.

Sorry, the sticker didn't last but a couple of days before it came crashing down on the counter, the lights don't work without being plugged in, the battery in the light doesn't hold a charge,

Light works, I like bright light under the counter

I think because the switch that activates the main light is always on it drains the batteries very quickly.  I found that whether I used the light or not the batteries were dead in 3-4 days.  I switched to chargeable ones  so the cost was minimal.  But after doing this for 3-4 months we've stopped using it.  Bottom-line is it's useless.

Very poor battery life.

Title and Description and question/answers all say this is rechargeable but it is not. You must either plug one of them in and connect to the other with a very short wires or plug it into a box that holds a bunch of AA batteries.
