Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing The rear light is OK. There is an angled rubber to try to make it level when mounted to your seat post, but the rubber doesn't provide much angle, so the light lends to be left angled downwards on anything but a near-vertical seat post. Most seat posts are sloped back considerably, especially on cruiser type bikes, leaving the light angled downwards and therefore not as visible as it should be. The front light is terrible. It mounts the same way as the rear, but the rubber is not angled, so if you mount it on a vertical tube there is no adjustment/correction of the vertical angle. I mounted mine on the handlebar stem quill. It looks from the design like it's meant to be mounted vertically, but this leaves the light pointing way upwards. I'm lighting up the treetops more than the road in front ! I even tried using the rubber wedge from the rear light to try and correct the angle, but it didn't provide enough angle to help much. If you mount it horizontally, on the handlebars, then you can turn it to give you the downward angle you need, but then the light pattern is so wide you lose any focus of light in front of you. Light level is quite poor. It is a bright light, but the light is just not focussed into ant sort of usable pattern? Not a lot of thought gone into this design. The design of the light and the light pattern looks like it's designed to be mounted vertically, but mounting it this way it is nearly impossible to get the angle you need to see the road in front. Might be a little better on something like a road race bike, where the seat post and stem post are much closer to vertical, but looking around it seems that the vast majority of bikes have angled head stocks and seat posts.
