BIG BOSS 2.5 LICE CREAM MAKER

I just bought this for my son's 11th birthday and we tried it out for the first time on the week-end. After freezing the 'bowl' for 24 hours and chilling the ingredients of the first recipie for 2 hours in the fridge, we were excited to make icecream. It was easy to use and the 'soft' icecream that initially comes out was yummy. We now have it in a tub in the freezer and look forward to the final hard ice cream product. It was also easy to clean and i would highly recommend it to others. I thought the price was good for what you get and it comes with lots of recipies. We look forward to trying more!

Great ice cream maker and easy to use!

I received this in the mail yesterday made ice cream today it worked great, the on-off switch kept going to off so I pulled on the switch and it stopped doing it.
Here on the questions one person asked it the bowl needed freezing and was told to put it in the refrigerator this is why I bought it because I don't have a lot of space in the freezer but the instructions says to put the bowl in the freezer for 12 to 24 hours before using it I had to move a lot around to fit it in the freezer.
I will keep it because I am diabetic and need to make my own ice cream with splenda, taste great.

You need a really cold freezer but it does my artificial ice cream recipe I made up pretty good but the old fashioned ice cream maker I have to use real ice for does better

I attempted to  make my first batch of ice cream when after 5 minutes of mixing,, the  machine just died. I did everything according to the instructions. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Boss Ice Cream Maker

I bought this for our grandchildren so we could make ice cream Christmas Day. The dial would not stay on and shut off after 30 seconds. There is no web site listed or phone number for support. I had no idea what company made this machine. Also when it did run the motor grounded loudly.

This is too cheap I got in the morning and broke on my that night PLEASE DONT BUY THIS ITS NOT WORTH  IT

Don't buy

I made ice cream twice with it and the cream didn’t thicken at all, plus it stopped after 6 minutes and didn’t want to leave for several minutes. Once she left, she was only 6 minutes longer. Turn her over.
