I like this fan. It brings in cool outside air at night and during the daytime until the air becomes too warm.

effective and quiet

I bought 2 of these little beauties to use in the master bedroom which can get really warm in the summer. These little fans have enabled us to cool down the whole upstairs of our home so that we don't have to run the air conditioner as much. They are quiet and bring in so much fresh air. The first night we used them we felt refreshed with a nice cool breeze from outside. I'd like to buy a few more for downstairs to keep the whole house cool.

Best little window fan

Bought it for my living room, if I close the western window drapes in the afternoon it keeps the room cool all day. I now have it set to come on and shut down on it's own. Quick easy installation no tools needed, fits great.

Works Fine

Easy to install, seems to move lots of air. Quite quiet, and the sound is not annoying. Good value. Would be better if it had a switch to reverse the airflow to suck instead of blow. As it is, you would need to remove the fan from the window and reverse it. Thin enclosure, so it can be installed leaving the window screen in place.

i bought this earlier this month and it is great, moves more air then the other one we had and is super quiet. i will definitely buy again.

Great Product

This is a great little fan. With the built in thermostat it turn off at night when it cools down. The only thing missing are directional fins for the air flow. I use the box it came in for that.

Great Fan.

Actually the product shipped was defective and one of the fans did not work when plugged in. I took it apart and fixed it myself as the fan housing was not screwed down properly. Good thing I had previously done this and kept it out of the landfill. Otherwise it is a good fan and relatively quiet.

Defective on delivery but easy fix...

we have what I thought were "standard windows" but this unit at full extension is 8" short of filling a vertical window. Also one edge doesnt lock in to the window at all (flat and smooth). I realize there is a lot of variance in windows but a 1/4" lip up the middle of that side would let you wiggle it into the window frame groves and make it a little more secure.

The claims of it being reversible are a little misleading. To reverse the flow you have to remove it from the window and flip it around, removing any of the insulating tape etc. With all the switches and stuff on it they could have put in a reverse button instead. 

Overall I am terribly disappointed. Will be looking to return these.

doesnt fit "standard" vertical windows

I bought two of these and one motor stopped to work in two weeks, the second stopped one week later. Maybe I got a lemon, the second one works se far ok. It is nicely made and fits beautifully on top of window but I am not sure if I will buy it again.

poor quality

I have purchased 2 of these fans now, and both within the first month experienced problems with at least one of the fans. They work well when working but if you want a fan that lasts longer than 1 month I would not recommend this one.
