I've been using the Bissell Carpet power cleaner that I've been borrowing from a friend. Finally decided (despite her insistence on continued borrowing) to get my own for approximately $90.00 including cleaner fluid and tax. It was shipped free of charge to my local Walmart in three days. Great service! The lightweight macihine is very easy to use and easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning after use. My neighbor has had hers for a few years without any problems. it cleans 3 carpeted bedrooms each Approximately 10' X20' with one filling of cleaning fluid for each carpet. You may have to use a couple of fillings if your carpet is heavily soiled. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat!

I purchased a Hoover (very heavy) carpet cleaner 2 years ago (expensive), it quit on me with the first use. I couldn'f finish my carpet, the machine is still in my garage. I ordered this little machine and I have used it multiple times, cleaned my whole apartment which gets filthy with dirty black (and I mean BLACK !) carpet stains (I live with one other person and 3 pets). I was afraid I would not be able to get my carpet clean. But this little wonder is so easy to use, it is lightweight and easy to clean, I find a Q-tip works great for cleaning it and grabbing the dirt and hair picked up by the machine. I Love this product !! It cleans superiorly...for the price I am very, very happy with this product... don't be afraid to buy it.... I am happy that I did.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT

I have used Bissell steam cleaners for decades. In ordering from walmart.com I saw an ad for this cleaner that looked exactly like my full size Bissell at a great price of $79 so I ordered it. I found this to be about half the size as my other Bissell which I thought I was replacing. I think Bissell should have made this look different than the full size model since we can't tell the difference between them from online photos.

I used this Bissell for a few hours and was very happy with it's performance. It had strong suction, which I didn't not expect from it's size. It is very easy to use. I did have to empty the water and replace the detergent/water compartment every 5 minutes, so it takes a lot longer to do a room with this small cleaner. When I replace my full size steamer, I will not trust the online photos, but buy at the store.

For people with disabilities, this smaller model is much easier to use than the larger one. It's very lightweight and efficient. The job it did on my carpet was very good.

The cleaner works really well but unfortunately it doesn't stay together very long because the screws keep loosening up, which makes it stop working. If we could solve that problem it would be perfect. Just need to empty the tank after each room, but that's no big deal considering the price

It's okay

This cleaner is like the subcompact version of Bissell 's larger cleaners. Plenty of power, two tanks, cleans good, simple to assemble, good rolling brush .   The only reason only four stars is it stopped spraying, but once I turned the handle locking back, returned it to lock it was fine. But, just like most cleaners today, lots of plastic. But for a small cleaner, one for rooms, apts.,  its a good one.

I purchased this item mainly because of the price and the fact that I have  had this item before and  was satisfied.  It works well but it doesn't have the suction  and power of the more expensive machines. The one troubling factor is that there are times when you're trying to dispense the fluid the machine clicks thandle and you have to shut off the machine and readjust to handle in order to continue.,   The machine that I had previously had for a couple of years, the warranty has run out a year after I bought  it, and it literally stopped working. I was more than surprise when I contacted Bissell that their only response to me was that my warranty had expired.   Because of that attitude I was has hesitant to buy this item but the reality was that I needed it.

Convenient

My husband and I are very impressed with this little shampooer, it definitely cleans well. We are renters, so we try to take care of our home as much as possible. We had high traffic areas and a few black stains from spilled drinks on our light, cream colored carpet. We used this & made 3 passes over the trouble areas, and they now look great! It's easy to use, light, and gets a deep clean. That being said, it only got 3 stars because the tank is SO small. I got started on a problem area & wanted a nice good scrub. First tank didn't last 5 minutes. I also don't like that the scrubber tank is only able to be emptied by a little hole. As you would imagine, you accumulate all kinds of dirt and sediment. Sure, rinse some hot water in it, but a little remains every time that you can do nothing about. Makes me wonder what it'll look like in a year. Overall, good quality, and as long as you don't mind it being time consuming and constantly emptying the tank, then you definitely get your money's worth at such a cheap price.

Cleans very well, but very time consuming.

This is an average priced cleaner and it does exactly that -- an average job.My wife and I are satisfied with the performance. It does far less than a more expensive model but as stated it does a good job for the price.We got what we expected from a "plastic" cleaner for less than a $100. This is probably not something you would want to do a large area on even a monthly basis. We do one bedroom with a rug floor periodically and again its fine. Oh did I mention we have 1 dog and 5 cats so it does take some extra time to remove the hair from it but it is picking up the hair along with cleaning---not a bad thing.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

It dosnt pick up all the dirt on the floor no matter how many times I go over it. The suction isn't as powerful as I thought it would be. There are so many parts to clean after use (about 4 and the filter). Some of the dirt flys out a bit and makes the machine really dusty. Other than that the "deep clean" part worked all right and left the carpet smelling pretty good with the sample solution given. Overall though, I wouldn't really recommend it too much.

Not what I expected due to all the great reviews

This product is cheaply made! If the overall goal was for it to suck, it truly does that and not in a good way! I typically purchase bissel and even after I was warned through previous reviews, i thought I'd try it! Terrible decision, I wish I would have waited and purchased the bigger one, seems I clean this one more than the floor. It does not squirt water out, no heat, no suction, no water in container to empty. This product was poorly made and designed, don't waiste ur time
