I just used this iron over the weekend. I was/am so impressed that I ended up ironing everything that I could find to iron. It is very light and easy to use. I read the instruction booklet (which is very well put together) and I am a Happy Ironer ~.~ Oh, I am also a Black+Decker fan. My first iron I had for over 20+ years. Thank you.

I used to spend up to 20$ per week on dry clean.You can iron your work clothes just like the do at your local dycleaner ,the steam is powerful and the digital settings are accurate for fabric type.

Absolutely love my new iron. Bought it cause my mother in law has one like it and  I used it and it was so easy to get my clothes iron so fast and efficient

Love it

I've only had this iron for about 2 weeks so i can't comment on how dependable it will be. I usually just pick up a cheap iron but find myself replacing it too quickly. I decided to spend a little more this time and I guess the old saying is true you pay for what you get. It heats up quickly, steams well and just is much more of a joy to use than the el-cheapo models. I am initially satisfied as long as it has longevity.

This iron replaced an black +decker iron I owned for 20 years. It is a bit on the heavy side but works well has lots of steam which is what I was looking for. Hard to see water level but I can live with that

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hubby and I are both in love with this Iron! I've never seen a digital iron before, so this was really fun to learn how to use. It's very simple and more accurate than your average iron where you turn the dial to choose the temperature. Plus it's so awesome that it has different levels of steam- it makes it so much easier to iron different fabrics and types of clothes. I love how it looks too- it's so sleek and pretty. Even my husband is happy to do the ironing now (and how can I not love that!) Overall we love this iron and definitely recommend it!

Everything I Could Ask For!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this iron. It is easy to figure out how to set the temperature for the clothes you need to iron and very easy to add water. Not like my old iron, which you had to basically use a water bottle, this one you can place right under the tap. I love all the functions and one of the best features is that it has a specific place to wrap the cord.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new digital model has numerous superior features, compared to the Rowenta 1500 w Effective model I had been using for several years. The longer power cord is a good trade-off against the retractable (but shorter) cord of the Rowenta. The automatic shut-off feature of the B&D is a useful safety feature; but users will need to get used to reprogramming the iron after automatic shut-off. The sole plate provides a very smooth action. To date I have used setting 2 to iron both cotton and linen fabrics with equal success. The only negative comment I have concerns the dark plastic that makes the water reservoir very difficult to see during the filling process. A clear plastic would make it easier to see the Max. fill level.

It leaks/drips water when I'm ironing so I have to go back over the wet clothing and iron out the water that just leaked onto the material!! So irritating!! Other than that, this is a great iron - heats quickly, the steam function is ok, not great, but the doggone leaking is so frustrating.  I will have to return it.
