Great Mozzarella Pizza Cheese

[Employee of walmartcanada] Good affordable day to day cheese. Not the fancy cheese but not budget cheese. To make pizza you may want to buy some of the better mozzarella but we use it for pizza all the time and it's fine. Buy on sale and call it a day.

Good affordable cheese

I love this cheese.  I always buy the Black Diamond brand of cheese.  I removed one star because it is too expensive.  We like to use it when we make pizza.

Tastes great

... but only compared to other nonsense they call "cheese" out here. If I compare it to actual Mozzarella this tastes like a brick of plastic that has been very lightly scented and aromatized as cheese.

Would have been happier with same brand of cheese I ordered.

This cheese was a little bit of a let down for me personally.  It does melt evenly but there is hardly any taste.  It is however nice and soft so it is easy to slice it with a sharp knife.  Not my favourite.

Mozza on the pizza

Ordered one block as Mozzarella in a recent flyer sale and I won't do that again in this brand. Their sharper cheeses are okay for a supermarket grade cheese but this mozzarella is totally bland. If you want something to just melt over your veggies, perhaps this would be acceptable. It's very rubbery, soft and without ANY flavour. It'll get used up in tuna melts just to not waste food so I won't refund the purchase. However, I can't recommend buying this if you're looking for a decent mozzarella cheese. I know "mozza" is a milder cheese but there's still supposed to be a taste. Save your money and sample a true mozzarella from a deli counter somewhere then buy that instead.
