This is great stuff. I gave my new Blackstone griddle four coats as recommended for the initial seasoning, and the results were perfect. My first cook on the new griddle was completely non stick! Excellent! I plan to use this on my carbon steel pans too!

If you're buying a Blackstone don't leave the store without this to properly season the griddle top.  This is the most important thing , with no exceptions, you'll need to do to your new griddle.  This product works phenomenally.   I also used it on a new cast iron skillet with the same fantastic results.

Must have item for proper seasoning!

This product is very easy to use just follow instructions by using two tablespoons of seasoning on hot griddle plate. Make sure that you take your time using a sweeping motion while using heat resistant gloves and applying an even thin layer coat. First time using griddle, I suggest repeating steps at least 4x

Great product

Follow the directions.  Easy to apply.  I put 5 applications on the Blackstone and let it burn off completely each time.  It took about 2 hours.  First use was for fried rice, steamed broccoli,   with beef and chicken.  No stick whatsoever.  Get you some!

Great for Blackstone Flat Tops

Works better than just cooking oil. Used it on Blackstone griddle and cast iron griddle on stovetop. Easy to apply and creates really nice black cooking surface. So far it's been working great. Plan to apply to our cast iron fry pans just to tune them up.

Cast Iron Griddle Seasoning and Conditioner

we always go to walmart for our Blackstone Griddle Seasoning. In this case it was for two seperate gifts. My son who is 26 got his first Blackstone. He said it was very easy to do with the instructions and will continue to season all his cast iron items with it.

Best item for Cast Iron

This stuff worked beautifully on my new 17" griddle! Just follow the directions, be patient and it creates a well seasoned surface ready for griddling. If you have a smaller griddle, I HIGHLY recommend getting the adapter and use a 30 pound LP tank to avoid blowing through the little 1 pound cylinders.

this stuff works as advertised I thought I had lost one of my cast irons and I found it in poor condition this stuff is a miracle worker definitely showing some before and after pics. 
I gently warmed my cast iron so that it would melt I wiped it over all of the surface with the paper towel and then put it in the oven at 450 for an hour for each layer I don't even have all of my layers on it yet and it is looking marvelous

Best cast iron conditioner I have found to date

Overall, I like the Blackstone seasoning and conditioner — it gets the job done and gives the griddle a solid, protective layer. The finish looked decent and the product itself feels high-quality.

That said, it was hard to get a thin, even coat like you're supposed to. No matter how careful I was, I ended up with a few bubbles in spots, which makes you second-guess if you're doing it right.

It's still a good product, and I'd use it again — but I wish the application process was a bit easier or more forgiving for beginners.

7/10 — works, but there's a learning curve.

🔥 “Good Product, Tricky Application”

This thing works freaken great to start burning off your blackstone.  Melts easily,  applies extremely well and such.  The only reason I give it 3 stars is that, even many youtube videos swear by it, that one can start cooking immediately after applying.  I strongly suggest you don't. That gave my food an oddly, weird taste and at least made my stomach upset for about 2-3 days.  Products works great for what it needs to but I would highly recommend to burn that off and apply your regular cooking oil (avocado oil) thereafter before cooking your food.

Good for starters just not for cooking.

I haven't used the product yet. I have to clean the container first. Not sure how much product I lost but the package and the bottle is greasy. The mail package has grease inside and out.
