[Employee of walmartcanada] I purchased this capacitive pen today in store and it works great as both a pen and stylus. The ink on the pen side flows nicely and the stylus side works great. I even wrote this review using it!

Works excellent

I wanted a dependable stylo/pen that was long enough for my big hands (most are too small) & that the end would not shred to pieces after a few uses! Well this one is perfect & the end is wire-type mesh so it doesn't shred plus it didn't cost an arm & a leg to buy it!!! Definitely would recommend to everyone!!

Excellent style/pen

1 side is a ballpoint pen with a cap/lid (does not fit onto the top like other plastic pens. The other end is like an exposed mesh button that you just use like a pointer on the screen. Byfar my favorite stylus over several years, the "MacGyver" review is %100 true though unfortunately. Also, don't ever drop it, heaven forbid it lands on is tip, 9 out of 10 times the mesh will burst. If that didn't happen, it'd get a full 5 stars!

Meshy Tip Explodes 2 Easily

The stylus works fine for a month or two but wears through and is no longer useful.
The pen gave me trouble long before that - it would slide into the barrel so the tip was hidden. Dropping a piece of pencil eraser down the barrel fixed this. 
Anytime I used this to write I had to hold onto the cap as it doesn't fit on the stylus end.
I've owned several of these and they all have the same issues.

MacGyvering required after a while

TThe stylus is too hard to work well.  I have to pound on the screen to get a reaction.  My previous stylus was spungy and worked well.
