Ratings & Reviews+

Blue Wave A-Frame Flip Up Ladder for Above Ground Pools is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from This ladder is not any sturdier construction than the ladder that came with the intex pool. The ladder flexes when you climb up or down. Says that it supports up to 250 lbs but I would not recommend this for anyone close to that weight. OK for kids but has to be attached to the pool for support. The site makes it too difficult to even enter a review

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The description on the ladder is false. States up to 300 pounds. The paper work that comes with it states up to 250 pounds. When in reality it won't even hold 100 pounds without splitting in half. I returned the ladder and purchased a differnt one from a pool store. Horrible design, terrible product. DO NOT buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the price I bought this ladder to make it easier for my elderly Mom to get in and out of the pool. Time consuming to put together, definitely took 2 people once it was completed to place it in the pool. Strong and sturdy. I think I got my money's worth and would recommend it to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This ladder was extremely difficult to put together. The pegs that were to go in holes did not fit and we had to use braces to hold the pieces together while we hammered them in with a ballpine hammer and even then they were not in all the way. One of the cross braces that would help keep it together wouild not snap on at all. The place where it was to fit in was not wide enough. I think we will have to whittle the plastic tabs down so they will fit in and hit them with the ballpine hammer. In the water, the steps need a lot of weight to keep them from floating up or moving. We have two 50 lb bags of sand holding the steps in place and they still move around. We may have to invent something to anchor them better. The outside steps were supposed to be adjustable from 48" high pool wall to 54" but they will not come down from where they are at 54" to fit out pool at 48". There is molded plastic that will not allow the connecting piece to slide down further even though there are bolt holes ore-drilled to do so. That meant that the steps on the ground are a long way from touching the ground. We have put concrete slabs under the end of the ladder, which will have to do. All in all, this was an expensive disappointment. I would not recommend the steps. I like having the tiered steps on the water side as it is a place we can sit if we get tired in the water. But getting in and out at our age is a little insecure due to the lack of stability of the entire structure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked for 4 hours and could not put it together.. There was no 1-800 number or website to go for help. Parts and screw sights did not line up. I returned it to the store!
