"Bonanza" - One of the most successful and popular television westerns, "Bonanza" went on to become one of the most enduring series or all time. the instantly recognizable theme song, the talented cast, beautiful western scenery and impressive guest stars, made Bonanza stand far above the rest. Set in Virginia City, Nevada in the 1860s, the series chronicles the adventures of Ben Cartwright (Lorne Greene), owner of the Ponderosa Ranch, and his three sons, Adam (Pernell Roberts), Hoss (Dan Blocker) and Little Joe (Michael Landon). Each exciting episode finds the Cartwrights coping with western-style moral issues of good and evil, right and wrong. "Death At Dawn" - When a local merchant is gunned down for refusing to pay protection to the crooks running the town, Ben is taken hostage to try to win the release of the man accused of the crime. Who will hang? Ben or the real killer? "The Gunmen" - Traveling to Keowa, Texas, Joe and Hoss are mistaken for two gun-slinging brothers summoned to town to put an end to a long running feud. Cast in the middle of the feud, Joe and Hoss must use all their wits to stop the fighting.
