Better performance than expected,  I bought this for my husband,  he had very sensitive  skin,  and this is the answer to his shaving problems,  and he can shave himself now, because of his disabilities I was shaving him.
But now with a little guidance he can do it.

Very close shave. Often required only one pass to handle several days growth. Low noise for an electric shaver. Trimmer works well. Sturdy build except for head lock switch which is a bit flimsy. Cleaning system does its job well, though replacing cleaning cartridge will cost over time, but you're able to clean with water to conserve cleaning solution. No more messy shaving foam and nicks and abrasions from my fancy Gillette razor and expensive blade refills. Overall a great shaving experience and a great shaver.

Great electric shaver worth the high price

I havent had this shaver long but so far it is miles above the rest. For me there was no irritation anywhere on my face. It shaved five days of growth off like it was nothing. Best electric razor ive ever owned by far. Braun has  it right.

Highly Recommend

Amazing shaver! After cleaning and oiling, I have had perfect shave after perfect shave. 

The trimmer works well and comes in handy for a quick cut. I was initially hesitant to buy this shaver because of price, but it is well worth it. I upgraded from an Andis shaver that broke. I love the easy charge and self-cleaning options as well. I have used a light press while using this shaver and have had no cuts or burns with alcohol after and no bumps. It could be my face or great skin, but either way, this shaver has worked extremely well for me so far. I think I have had it for nearly a month now.

A great shaver

There's a reason premium products command a premium price. This shaver is an example of that. Great shave, self cleaning, I can't think of a single thing not to like about it. Blows away the cheaper ones I've used in the past.

Best Shaver I've Ever Used

Gives a very close and smooth shave.
Only have used the shaver for about 3 weeks but its far superior to my old series 3 shaver and to my previous Norelco shavers.

Great product but a little pricey.

I have used Braun shavers for many years. I have a thicker beard and they shave it well. However the low end Brauns have less powerful motors and don't do as well so I really like the Series 7. I like the cleaner but my 4 instead of 5 rating is because the cleaner really should have a blower for drying like they used to. Also the indicator light that tells you when it needs to be cleaned does not base it on the shavers condition. It is purely based on how many times you used it. If once, the shortest cleaning time is used. If twice, the middle time. If three or more uses since last cleaned it uses the longest time. I brush out the whiskers after each shave and only use the cleaner every 5-7 shaves which is more than adequate. I like the shave.

Great Shaver

The only reason i gave this razor four stars is that i like the razor as a whole except for the trimmer . My old series five razor had the trimmer on the top part of the razor head where i could see where i was trying to trim but this one has the trimmer down lower on the razor and i can't see where i want to trim as well . I am pleased with all other features of this razor.

As a very fair review.

This is my first electric and I wish I had tried one earlier! Works great! Fast and no razor burn! If you order online you can't get the rebate because you have no register receipt. I tried every way I knew.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as electric shavers go,its nearly faultless. The actual shaver body is a genius of design and ergonomics. The only flaw I can find is that the replacement shaver cassettes are a slight drop in quality compared to the one that came with the shaver.If you look on you tube at other reviews of the replacement cassettes, you can clearly see in the pictures that the design of the foil holes are different between the original one and the latest ones. Apart from that, the best shaver I've ever had. No question about it

Very very good razor

Well I guess electric shavers haven't changed in the last 20 years after all. Based on the reviews, I thought all that new technology would provide a decent shave but I was wrong. This shaver is every bit as useless as the Braun I tried 20 years ago. The self clean feature is cool but what good is that if you can't get a good shave. After I use this electric, I still have to clean up with a safety razor. Expensive mistake purchasing this shaver.

As useless as the Braun I had 20 years ago.
