I've had my blower for 4 years now. I perform the regular oil changes and all is well. Its powerful enough for the GTA snow we get. To get some facts straight, its BandS engine, put together by BandS using murray parts. The steel is thick and the only issue i've had is freezing chute controls which was resoled by wd40.

Reliable and powerful for the GTA

I bought this machine a few weeks ago motivated by the amount of snow we got this winter. Although we have not had much snow since I started it up right away to test it. It started perfectly both with the manual and electric starts. It runs very nicely and moves snow very effectively.

I bought one. Have less than 10 hours on the engine and it died. I now need to replace the engine. I was over the warrenty because I waited too long to get it into a shop. (Did not think about the snowthrower until this fall). B & S will not do anything either. Spoke to other repaire shops and they all say avoid these engines, they all DIE!!!!!
