I was looking for a wireless printer because I am replacing two Desktop computers with two laptops. My old Lexmark 5250 is not wireless. I wanted to be able to make copies of documents, pictures, a tray for blank paper, not the paper sticking up in the air, and a small compact in size printer.

I shopped online many stores, and picked the Canon PIXMA White MG3520 and ordered it thru Walmart online. Printer was mailed and I had it in a couple of days. This printer is easy to use. The paper lays flat inside the front of the printer, the output sheets come out above plastic pieces pull out and catch the paper. Printer takes up very little room and I can move it anywhere I want. Printer prints duplex which is a bonus to me and it has an auto start function. It also makes copies.

Cons: Manuals are online. Help screens say auto start will not work when hooked up to a home network. I forgot to turn it on and when I sent a printout to it it started up. The only thing I noticed is it does not power off by itself,

Setup - The first day I tried 3 times but could only use it with a USB cable, a couple days later I tried 2 times but did not get it to work right. The third time it never got to the point where you disconnect the USB cable and finish the install it just ended, but everything is working.
I have powered everything off then brought up my laptops and they both can print . I now know about 3rd time's is a charm

Fits all my needs in a printer

I purchased this printer a few weeks ago, and so far, so good. Setup was easy...I connected it to my desktop and router via the enclosed CD-ROM. When I first completed the setup, I got an error message, so I scrolled through the trouble-shooting guide. I didn't do any of the suggested steps, but when I clicked on "try again" (or something like that), everything was fine.
To connect to my iPad and iPhone, I downloaded the Pixma Printing Solutions app. Very easy, quick, and simple to use.
I like the look of the white printer and the print quality seems to be the same as previous Canon printers I have owned. It is somewhat noisy, but not as loud as my last Canon. It is slightly larger than my older printer and uses the same ink cartridges.

excellent printer

[Employee of walmartcanada] I bought this printer over a year ago for school.. Unlike some of the other reviews, I have never had an issue with it. It was easy to set it up, and it was easy to connect to wifi.. I love being able to print from my iPhone and/or iPad from wherever I am in my house! It's also a super quiet printer too, I leave it on almost 24/7 just in case I'm in the living room or somewhere and need to print something out.. It'll print out whatever I need and then go back to being silent :) the cost of the ink is pretty decent too, I don't find it overly expensive... The ink also lasts for quite a bit, I use my printer a lot as I have a lot of things to print out as a university student, it'll last me for a pretty decent amount of time before I need to replace it which is nice. I love the white sleek shiny color of it too :) overall, I really love this printer, I would recommend it to others, and I definitely would repurchase this!

I bought this printer and did not expect all the features for the price. Crisp looking copies. Bought one for my college kid right after I bought ours

Great printer

had a bit of trouble setting it up with the wifi network without the wire so had to plug directly to laptop with a printer wire (thank god I had from an older printer cause it doesn't come with usb cable). Works great now! had bought the same one in black for almost double the price. When I saw this one at that price... didn't hesitate

great printer! Amazing price!

I could not figure out how to set this up with my Mac laptop or iphone. The disc was not the needed drivers just instructional, I guess? It was useless as it did not work with my Mac. The directions were not helpful. You need a cord, however no where does it show you a picture of what type cord is needed or give you a name, style something?? Lucky for me I knew someone that had a Mac and was familiar with needed cord and came over and using his cord got it set up for me. Once set up it works nicely! There should be a choice for maybe on would you recommend this product or an area for comments with it.

Reasonable price

After installing it 3 times and getting messages like "open paper tray" when it was open; "out of paper"; When it wasn't; "please install ink cartridges" when they were installed; I finally got it to say it would print a test page. This after working at it for over 3 hours. Told it to print test page and it promptly jammed the paper solid. decreased the number of paper sheets from six to three and it jammed solid again. That's when I decided I had enough and took it back to the store. Thank heaven Walmart has a great return policy!1

What a piece of junk

I have downloaded the set up disk to two computers and neither computer works . Called Cannon and they said I need to get computers fixed. Mine I bought at Walmart a few years ago and the other computer is nearly new.
