Ratings & Reviews+

CAP Barbell Doorway Gym is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent workout device This small pullup bar works excellently. It fits in every doorway in my house with no issues. It's sturdy (I weigh 170lbs) and I havn't had to retighten any screws or nuts. You can do everything you would do on a pullup bar at the gym and it's also excellent being used as a pushup bar, dips bar and handstand pushup bar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for wide pullups It's OK, but not for wide pull-ups. Make sure you don't weigh over 250 LB if your wall above the door frame is made up of sheet-rock unless you put a flat but hard piece of wood or tile where you hook-up to. The reason for that is to support your weight before the whole pull-up bar goes crashing through the sheet-rock. Another thing is to avoid swinging on the bar, or else you will unhook from your anchor part of the door frame causing you to go back of the head to the tile floors, cement floors in the basement or even bouncing your head onto the wooden floors as you know that wood makes hard heavy objects (like a head) bounce. Just be careful and don't use it with a curl of your hands in a way that will cause you to unhook your bar from the door frame. If the hooked part is facing into the room, your palms should be facing into the room also. If your hook is facing into the room and you too are in the room, then your palms should be facing you. To avoid injury, it's better if you just stick to holding the two padded stumps that stick out because it won't matter if you are in the room or out of the room. As long as your weight is on them two stumps, pressure will be applied to the two anchors and you will remain safe and I'll be happy for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent I bought it at such a good price. I've been using it for just under a year and the padding is starting to tear a little. I am expacting it to last 2.5 years tops. It's still good. Just know that it's so cheap because it doesn't last years
