Typically described as fresh and crisp, with some exceptions.

Easy, wash and serve celery. Great for stuffing with your favorites. Or cut it smaller for celery sticks. No trimming or leaves--ready to serve. It does need to be washed but it doesn't have much dirt. Makes serving a meal or a picnic simple.

Wash and Serve!

This celery has such a nice, crisp texture and the classic juicy, vegetal taste that everyone loves celery for. I usually only eat a few ribs at a time so having a resealable closure to keep things fresh makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

Love the resealable bag!

I would never have thought that there was a difference in celery brands, but there is. When in season, Dandy Duda is THE celery. It's buttery-tasting and delicious. Even the darker green stalks are sweet and lack any bitterness. They're worth the extra money for those who just eat celery straight.

The best celery out there

My bag of celery sticks arrived fresh and crisp and it saved me all the time of having to cut off the leaves and dispose of the stem. Very easy to store too by just putting it into the drawer or a green bag. The green bag is preferred to keep them fresh longer.

Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Fresh and crisp. Saves time.

I think celery just has a really good flavor by itself. I just eat one or two of these plain. I like not having to cut it up and wash it.

good alone with nothing else

we make celery juice every morning in a juicier and this product is clean fresh with no sand found that would take extra cleaning. great celery

I trim the ends of my celery before chopping or stuffing. I had to come in a long way from several ends to avoid brown spots. That devalues the total product. the flavor was celery flavor and most of the stalks snapped, but not all. No so super fresh.

Celery - cost per inch...

I got a package of these, firstly they are not celery sticks...well I mean they are sort of just extra long, basically they chopped the tops and bottoms off but didn't cut them down to stick size, these are rods, not a big issue just cut them in half and you're good to go. First day these were great, second day these were already turning brown, third day they were mush. Minding that I only cut the ones I was currently eating in half leaving the rest untouched.
They also have a lemon type taste to them, I'm assuming what they are trying to use to preserve them. They are fine if you are eating them with something, but on their own it's not a pleasant taste. Also I now, day 4, have a large swore swollen spot on the side of my tongue, I get this when I eat too many processed tomatoe products or too many citrius fruits.

Turns to quickly

I bought two bags of sliced celery. I am disabled and this is easiest for me. I have been having problems with the quality of the produce for a while. There is regularly produce that has started to get too old to eat in each bag. This time, nearly one whole bag was turning bad! I have severe digestive issues, and NONE of that celery is edible for me! (That stuff that has started to turn.)

The pictures we took don't show it well, but the discolored stalks are actually browning as well. Celery this bad is toxic for people...it shouldn't be eaten, and it's worse the older it gets. This is a total rip off! The pictures show both bags combined. The larger pile is the stuff we can use, but will have to be used quickly. The only slightly smaller pile is the bad, and the shot of only SOME of the bad is there first.

I can't walk. I can't go to the store. I can't afford groceries as often as I want, and not the organic stuff I need the most. When I order the delivery service, it's even MORE expensive, but I have little choice. When the stuff that comes is bad, turning bad, a day or two before it's expiration date, I may as well have just thrown all that money away!

DO BETTER WALMART! THIS IS WRONG!

HORRIBLE!

Fresh Celery Sticks were NOT fresh. The best buy date was the next day and about half of the celery sticks were getting dark on the ends already and were getting soft. Had to throw away. If I would have went inside to shop, I definitely would not have purchased that package! Already threw away, so don't have any pictures.

Not so fresh celery sticks
