its a nice appliance for the price. cord isnt too short. heats fast and even. isnt bulky. only gripe is the ready light has limited angle to see illuminated but i can live with that

Taste treat

I really like this waffle iron. I already have a gadget that makes waffles, along with interchangeable iron for pani, steak, and hambugers. This wafflel iron is so much better.

The waffle iron has more controls so you can make waffles with different colors. You can make different waffles for different people according to the way they like it. "Screw you Waffle House"! lol

Mmm!

l was sick and tired of buying frozen waffles. Once it is time to feast. The freezer burns,wet nor staleness. I don't have to worry about my children bringing me their pan cakes that they make for me for mother's day and my birthday.  Once again, I thank you. 😊

This is a super Belgian Waffle Maker, and it performs much better than I thought it would. It evenly browns and the moat really does prevent over flow. That said, anytime you go overboard in the amount of batter your put in, you will have a mess on your hands. This is a super iron, I have yet to put any sort of oil or anything on the waffle grids. It really is non stick. Super supper waffle iron.

A lot better than I expected.

On my first attempt my waffle dough expanded — by a LOT. The really generous overflow channel couldn’t handle it and it turned into a mess. While the heating plates were a dream to clean, the outside is extremely hard to get clean because the surface is not smooth and literally grabs on to sticky stuff. It took more than an hour to get it all off and I’m still finding little specks stuck on. Very unfortunate choice of material for the outside of a waffle maker. I guess I’ll just have to be a lot more careful to never let things overflow again. The waffles that come out? Fantastic! The blue “Ready” light tells you accurately when it’s hot enough and then when your waffle is done. Could not be easier.

Excellent waffles - outside is very hard to clean

Good looking, easy to use. The clip to open is a little odd. It has a spill area that is interesting. If you use the measuring cup that it comes with you pour in just enough. I made the first one light. The second one I adjusted it darker and it came out golden and crispy. It was a good purchase for the money.

Belgian waffle maker

This Waffle Iron is easy to use, but you don't get thick Waffles, you could cook 2 of these to make 1 waffle from my old waffle iron, which died after many years of use.

No thick waffles

I love waffles, crispy on the outside tender on the inside. but this waffle maker I can turn it all the way up and it will not make a Crispy Waffle they're just gushy and soft I've tried everything I can to get a crispy crust on it and it doesn't do it.

It's not great.

Disappointing at best.  Doesn't create crispy waffles.  They are also very thin and don't come close to a restaurant quality.  Very disappointed that it doesn't come with any recipes.  I would think Chefman would provide a useful recipe to enjoy their product.  Save your money.  Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.  But the price was right, shame about the product.
