This is a great bed. The color is much lighter than dark brown shown but is very pretty. See photos. It takes two people to lift the the outer frame and hold a couple of pieces. Otherwise my husband assembled by himself in two half days but he is very skilled with complex assembly. The lift mechanism makes it pretty easy to lift the mattress. I was able to use the regular 12” queen mattess I already had. Don't think it would close with full bedding on bed. So glad we bought this especially at the sale price. The only thing I can say was that shipping was delayed ten days so allow extra time to receive. Delivery company brought right to garage.

IT SHOWED UP CRACKED AGAIN AND SOME OF THE HOLES WERE NOT DRILLED BIG ENOUGH TO GET THE NUT INTO PLACE. I HAD TO REDRILL THEM TO GET THEM IN.
