CLEAR CARE® Contact Lens Solution, Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution With Hydrogen Peroxide

• TRIPLE CLEANING ACTION: Loosens dirt, deep cleans, and forms bubbles that enhance protein removal to keep your lenses feeling like new. • HYDROGEN PEROXIDE: Contains 3% Hydrogen Peroxide that provides a deep clean with bubbling action. Do not rinse lens directly without neutralizing. • VERSATILE SOLUTION: Safe for all soft and rigid (RGP) contact lens. Effective in deeply cleaning and killing bacteria. • DIRECTIONS: Fill lens case with solution to the indicated line. Place the top into the case with the secured lens inside. Let lens soak for at least 6 hours in the case to fully neutralize. IMPORTANT: Carefully read the complete directions for use, warning, and precautions"

The CLEAR CARE® family of contact lens cleaning & disinfecting solutions with hydrogen peroxide are created by the leading provider of vision and eye care products. CLEAR CARE®'s proprietary triple cleaning action loosens dirt, deep cleans, and forms bubbles that enhance protein removal to keep your lenses feeling like new. It contains 3% of hydrogen peroxide that provides a deep clean with bubbling action. Clean Care should only be used with the included special case as the platinum disc neutralizes the hydrogen peroxide into a gentle saline solution. The solution should not be used to rinse lens directly without neutralizing first. Lens should be soaked for at least 6 hours to fully neutralize.

My husband uses contacts lenses. He tried many cleaning solutions for the contacts and they are fall from perfect. My husband's eyes be irritating, drying up this eyes, and making his eyes feel discomfort throughout the day. Until he tried this product (clean and clear). His eyes finds full comfort and his eyes do not irritates or dries out. Yes, I recommend this product for those looking for eye relief after cleaning their contacts with this solution. I feel it is a very good choice for my husband, but I hope it works for everyone else in the world.

great cleaning solution for contacts

walmart.com

Likes include the fact that it is better at disinfecting contacts than other methods.
Dislikes include being very careful that you mix up rinsing saline and this product. It will burn your eyes!

The good and the bad

I used to have that my lenses dried out after wearing for about 10 hours. Since I started using clear care I can wear my lenses 14 hours at a time or longer without having the lenses dry out. Great product, I highly recommend it.

Great Lens Solution For Dry Eyes

I will never, ever go back to another soultion. My eye doctor suggested this soultion after I told him about my eyes becomig dry or burning, especially after I have had them in for several hours. (I usually wear my contacts 10 hours a day) Well, the first day I used Clear Care I noticed a difference. Yes, it is a little more expensive then I would like to spend on contact solution, however the comfort I feel with this vs. other ones I have tried, does not even compare. I have worn contacts over 10 years, and just got introduced to this soultion about 3 weeks ago. I seriously will never go back to another type.

THE BEST!

My optometrist recommended this to me because my eyes tend to dry out quickly and I have a propensity to accumulate deposits rather quickly on my lenses. This solution contains hydrogen peroxide, which can damage your eyes if the product is not used correctly. (The solution is neutralized to saline after 6 hours). The hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria as well as removing protein. This is definitly the best cleanser I have tried. After you put your lenses in the special case (included with purchase) you fill the case to the line with solution and screw the cap on. Almost immediately little bubbles form at the base of the container and rise (very effervescent).
The first time I used it I could tell a difference. My lenses were clear and felt great in my eye.
The only slight downside is that you have to have saline solution on hand to rinse with since you can't rinse with the clear care if you chose to rinse before putting them in (you don't have to, but I feel weird if I don't.)
This was also almost $3 less at my local walmart compared to the online price.

best cleaner

I like the idea it includes some hydrogen peroxide since that tent to sanitize the soft contact lens. Love the little bubbles it produces when it begins its activation. It's somewhat more expensive than its competitors but worth the extra investment.

Effective, long-lasting.

I thought I was going to have to drastically alter my lens wearing routine--switch to one a days (expensive!) or stop wearing them altogether because my lenses would dry out so fast and would feel gritty and uncomfortable, no matter what I did. I asked my eye doctor about this because my roommate uses it and it is amazing. It makes my lenses feel new each morning. My boyfriend had the same problems I did and would have to take out his lenses and wear glasses instead because they hurt in the morning. I made him try this and now we both use only this solution.

Revolutionary

This is the only solution that cleans my contacts so they are comfortable for a full day.

Clear care

This is the best solution for soft lenses

Eye health

Too complicated, and this is what I think is going on, but I don't know for sure. My daughter got contacts and I'm aware that it's the preservatives in eye drops that cause dry eye, and permanent dry eye from the preservatives in the post op eye drops for cataract/LASIK surgery, as well as causing other issues like glaucoma. I had to research this for myself. So when my daughter got contacts, I decided she should use preservative-free solutions and bought three of these peroxide kits. The issue is that the solution is never fully neutralized, in our experience, so it stings the eyes and has led to her feeling the dry eye sensation. Now this could be from the platinum disk being designed to be short-lived to keep sales up or from a bad design altogether or from using 3% peroxide when perhaps 2% could work or to generate more dry eye customers - I can't know for sure, but I can't keep up, so we will have to simply use dailies and toss them daily even though they can easily last a month if you get the higher quality dailies. Monthlies work well too, but the only options are to wear them full time, use solutions with preservatives in them that lead to dry eye issues or use peroxide kits that seem to have under-powered platinum neutralizers for one reason or other.... or back to eye glasses, which may end up being the final solution. My intuition says we have an industry that makes a lot of $ on dry eye syndrome so the customer is left to navigate a complex arena.

Stings and then feels like dry eye
