I bought this straightener as my old one finally kicked the bucket after about 15 years. It has a lock so when not in use you can close and lock it. The controls are simple. One button for power, another for the temp. Very easy to see. Also gets  ice and hot. Would recommend this project to anyone. Suitable for all age ranges

I bought this straightener because it was really cute. I always hesitate to get conair products because in the past they did not work out for me. About 4 months ago I got a conair dryer and I liked it a lot that I decided to try conair again. I was disappointed with this product. Left my hair very frizzy and its not even that straight :(.  The presentation is really cute so props for that . I wanted to return it but I no longer have the box
