LEGO® Constraction Star Wars - Captain Phasma™ (75118) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Hemet? Overall I like this product but there is a few things I think could be bad about this set. First off the helmet of this character is not consistent with the rest of the figure, the helmet is all scratched and battle damaged yet the body and rest of the limbs are crisp, clean and straight out of the factory. Also I think that with these giant figures should come with a normal minifigure version of the character to compare it to and so people have another alternative to equip themselves with rarer figures that only come in one or two expensive sets, this could apply to all of these buildable figures being released. But otherwise as I said this set is good but there are a few improvements.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Value (No Spoilers) Honestly, don't get me wrong, this set is awesome. In my opinion Phasma is one of the coolest looking characters in the whole movie (despite her role being not adequate), and believe me I love this set. The cloak is great and the part usage and details are incredible. The use of the action in the blaster is great for young kids, and the inclusion of a spare is great. However it is this cloak that is giving me the problem. This set costs £20, and the other storm trooper set costs £15. I expected a part difference, however the storm trooper has 81 pieces, and Captain Phasma (this set) has 82. As far as I can tell the only difference is the cloak. So you're paying £5 extra, for a fancy cloak, and chrome colour. Honestly, I'd be fine with and extra £1 price, but not £5, for a cloak! TL;DR Generally a very good set, however the absurd pricing is wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not chrome? Meh... Not a fan of the CCBS since it's inception from Hero Factory to Bionicle and then to Star Wars, until now. Seeing that detailed helmet plus the custom front torso (with print), rounded shoulder pads and unique red trimmed cloth cape was enough to change my mind. She's also taller than most of the other figures in the series. Talk about NEAR movie accurate. The figure's metallic grey rather than chrome; although I kind of like it. She appears more menacing, especially in low lighting. LEGO addressed the issue of the exposed back framework with back, shoulder and calf pieces. The figure is also super pose-able. Added extra playability with the rifle that shoots projectiles and comes with an attached spare. WARNING! Unlike it's predecessor that held the projectile in place, this shooter locks only in the armed position. It can fire easily if one doesn't pay attention. One minor gripe; a GREY peg on her upper back to keep the BLACK cape in place looks out of place. Just swap it for a black one or remove it completely for static posing. I'd definitely recommend this kit. Time to round up some 'troopers for her to command.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cool set My son loved this set from the moment he saw it. My only complaint is that is does not seem as sturdy as some of the other figures. We have Darth Vador and a storm trooper and they stand much easier and feel more solid. This does not take away from his love of the set, but it makes it a little harder to display without fear of knocking over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Attractive figure This was my second purchase of the new addition of the Star Wars CCBS figure and fourth overall, and once again this figure is an amazing set with tons of playability. The previous figures, such as Jango Fett or Clone Commander Cody, looked a little 'boney' and did not provide a great view from the back. I am so glad to see that Lego have decided to amend some of that problem with an entire back plate and some added piece on the calf part of the figures. So compared to the previous sets, they are great improvement. Also the missile mechanism has improved greatly, adding the playability side of the figures. Although now that the mechanism is improved (the projectile shoots stronger), the safety has not improved. The mechanism has made the missile to fire too easily, and I had shot myself couple times in the face while assembling and displaying this figure. I wish Lego could have also provided a step to disengage the mechanism so no accidents can happen. Once again, the building process itself becomes quite repetitive if you purchase other figures from this series. The only variable factors are the accessories of each characters. While that is an ongoing problem for most of CCBS sets, this time, I do not see significant details on the pattern or the print of the pieces. The previous figures, such as Jango Fett or Clone Commander Cody, the plates were printed with details such as scuff marks and scars on the armor. However, comparing the body plate of First Order Stormtrooper and Captain Phasma, I do not see any difference other than the colors. Also, the thigh plate of Jango Fett was also a differentiating factor, while Captain Phasma do not have any differentiating factor other than the color, the gun and the cape. That may have created the price difference between it and the First Order Stormtrooper, but not a very convincing one. All in all, the new additions of this series are somewhat of an improvement from the last ones, while some details are sacrificed. I am still very satisfied with the purchase. If you're a Star Wars fan, it's at very reasonable price, with tons of playability and display value. If not, you may need to consider twice before purchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 'You Are Making a Big Mistake' I love Captain Phasma striding onto screen in her chrome armour, red-edged black cape and silver blaster. This figure does a good job in capturing Phasma's character. The build is easy, enjoyable and the finished model looks great. All of Captain Phasma's proportions are good. Phasma's helmet is extremely detailed, including all the little scratches and dents, and is very movie accurate. Phasma's armour is awesome, with great detail and is finished off perfectly with the black cape with red-edging. The only problem is that Phasma's armour isn't silver - it's grey. The photo makes her armour look silver but in real life it's shiny grey. It doesn't detract from the overall figure but it is a shame that Lego didn't make the armour silver. Phasma's pose-ability is awesome and is perfect for use in role-play or for being able to display the figure in any position you want. The figure is robust and would stand up to plenty of role-play and Phasma's blaster can shoot a 'laser' which is a fun little play feature. This is a good build-able figure, although not the best in the range, and I think it would be a 'big mistake' not to add Captain Phasma to any Force Awakens collection.
