My family loves this dinnerware!! I have raised my family with Corelle dinnerware. Now my 5 married daughters and daughter in-law are enjoying their own sets in their homes. They have each asked for it for a gift. The youngest just received these 2 sets for her birthday yesterday. For 25 years, ever since I got my first set, my husband has teased me with, "everything tastes better on Corelle." He knows I love my Corelle!

I keep buying these simple dishes because I know they will always make them. Fancier styles come and go but I always know if I buy these, they will still be around in a few years when I break more, and I won't have to replace a whole set.

Simplicity is Always in Style

Good price for Corelle, purchased for my son who is renting an apartment for the first time.  We selected Corelle for its durability.  One of the mugs (which are not Corelle but stoneware) was broken during shipping.  Not worth the bother to try to return and get again, but removing one star for this.

Durable Corelle solution (except for mugs)

I love that these plates don't chip, they are easy to clean, and relatively light weight; however, the outside of the bowl's surface was not smooth, it had little specs. I contacted Corelle and they said that those were aesthetic imperfections that did not compromise the quality of the product. So, they replaced the bowls, but the new bowls had the same imperfections.  While I was happy that they replace the bowls, this was a known issue, which indicates their lack of quality control. Also, they may say it's "only aesthetic imperfections," but the fact is that I did not buy them at a discount store or as a defective product. i expected good quality just like the first set I bought 15 years ago.

I was not happy to see that the cups to my set were heavier than the plates, & bowls. Not the original set that I have had for years. So now my cups do not match with the pieces I have from my older set.

Corelle Livingware

I love that the plates are MADE IN THE "U  S  A" but I gave it a 3 because the MUGS are MADE IN "CHINA".  Very discouraged.   But plates I give it a 5 Star.

Was so excited they arrived so quickly but received a dinner plate chipped on edge. Trying to figure out what to do. Dont want to package up the entire set to return. I need them for a family dinner soon.

1 mug came broken. It's a stoneware mug. Plates look and feel lighter than the other corelle plates I own. Not sure if it is authentic. But I have kept the set as its a hassle to return during the pandemic and I needed a set of plates.

I have another set of this which came in original packaging, thus costing more at a retail price. I bought additional set which is this from Walmart.
This set came in unmarked carboard box. I took it home and every bowls and dishes doesn't look as good as the more expensive retail boxed versions. You can easily see the unsmooth warped appearance in all of them.
Furthermore one of the dishes arrived chipped. Since they are pretty cheap it's not even worth driving back to Walmart for replacement. Overall I am unhappy with this substandard cheaply made set.

Disappointed!

The dishes I received are seconds. They were not listed as seconds online when I purchased them. The plates have uneven rims and I believe will break easily when stacking together. The price was only a few dollars lower than sets available in the store. I have used Corelle dishes most of my life and have never seen new sets sold as seconds. The outlet stores are seconds. Walmart should not be selling seconds or it should be listed in the description as seconds
