Ordered two Corningware Bakeware Dishes (different sizes) as a gift. The box arrived from Walmart.com and not directly from a 3rd party vendor. Upon opening the box I was absolutely disappointed in how this product was packaged for shipping and gift-giving. The product is not in a manufacturer's packaging box but rather the Corningware arrived in flimsy, brown paper wrapped loosely wrapped around each dish.  I am astonished that it didn't break during transit. When unwrapping the product to inspect it, you have to flip it around so many times to unroll it that it's likely to drop and break while one is trying to unwrap it. The 1.5 qt dish did not have any further box once unwrapped from the flimsy paper packaging. The 3 qt dish was in the same paper wrapping but also in a cardboard tray - which I suppose is better than nothing- however it was not sealed into the tray in any way. So as you are flipping the product to unwrap the “protective” paper it almost slipped right out of the tray and out of my hands. 

Walmart should be embarrassed they allowed product to ship out like this. They should require their vendors to properly package their product. 

The dishware is a gift that I thought would be in its own Corningware packaging box so that it can be easily gift wrapped and presentable. But what I received looks like it was bought at a garage sale and wrapped in cheap paper to get it home.

Excellent baking/casserole dish for smaller family

I like the design and size of this item.  However, it is NOT as durable as the old school corningware dishes.  Mine cracked before I had it for a week.  Not sure how it happened either.

Very Fragile and Not Like Old School Corningware

Always loved Pyrex and Corningware...No more eating out of chipped bowls and dishes!

I've always loved Corning Ware and this dish is the perfect size for cooking for one.

If I wanted a heavy thick dish, I would give it 5 stars.  However, I needed a dish for reheating food in a toaster oven.  Now it takes longer (and uses more energy, which will in turn wear out my toaster oven quicker) than my previous dish because it is so thick.  Also, if you are going to bake in it, it will retain heat longer and continue cooking your food after removing from the oven because of the thickness.

This should have been  a 5-star item! Its beautiful, was delivered quickly, well wrapped, great quality! However, are you kidding me with this glue?!!!!!! Its like a mixture of rubber cement and super glue!!!! There are 3 globs of it inside the dish to hold the instructions. Completely unnecessary and nearly impossible to remove. Comes off in small beads that stick to your fingers and leaves smuges. Just removing one blob completely takes a good 10 minutes of labor intensive frustration and there are 3 in each casserole dish. The paper cannot be removed without destroying it, so I hope there was nothing important written on it. Do better!!!!!

This is a really great item. Super quality. It's just the right size for side dishes like mashed potatoes or vegetables. My biggest complaint is the shipping and how it was sent to us. I ordered this site to store. The exterior box was fine. However, I was shocked to find the dish its self-was wrapped in a web-like stick packing material and no box. I was not going downgrade the item over poor shipping. Just a heads up for buyers.  Check your item thoroughly it could be damaged.

Great retro dinner item

Loved this dish! Not only is it a beautiful dish, cooking was even with no ‘hot spots' .  Clean up was a breeze.
