Not taken for pleasure, but when you need it, it is a blessing.  Controls congestion, runny nose and other cold symptoms. Works great, at a more reasonable price than national brands. I trust Walmart branded products as much as the nationals. Most important, it works.

Valuable when you need it!

I recently decided to try the Equate Extra Strength cough syrup to help manage the symptoms of a cold I've been experiencing. After taking the syrup twice a day for four days, I've noticed some relief in my aches and pains. However, I'm still experiencing a considerable amount of coughing. It's possible that the syrup may require more time to demonstrate its full effects, or I may simply be dealing with a particularly tenacious cold. Overall, I appreciate the initial relief, but I still have some concerns about its effectiveness for my cough.

I honestly dont know if I believe any type of cough medicine actually works. I keep taking them in hopes that they will help but there's nothing extraordinary about it.

It's ok but I prefer a syrup with codeine, it does the job for a drug on the tablet, it was recommended to me by the pharmacist
