Bought for my older niece for Christmas. She loves to make items and is real big into fashion. She loves the Eiffel Tower and her mom loves owls. I didn't know at the time I purchased this for her for Christmas that it had an Eiffel tower mold and an owl Mold. Her mom seen it and said she is going to freak out when she opens this up on Christmas.

Glad to see interests in creative arts & crafts

This toy is a bit complicated for ten year olds.my kid likes to play with beads but she had trouble making them.It's almost the type of thing one would need to master,like a musical instrument.Better suited for twelve year olds.

it's complicated

The ideal is amazing it would have been so great if any of the beads came out half as good as the pics. I am a perfectionist so i thought for sure i could get them to come out good since my daughters attempt didn't look like a bead to her. She asked me to make one, so i took the clay rolled it into the ball, it went thru the sizing hole just fine And got it gromited and all that. Now You must make sure you don't use to much clay or it will cover the gromits when you clamp them down. After i had that done i reshaped my bead slightly because it just got messed up during the gromit process, so now its more bead like, I'm thinking i got this, then i try to get the pattern on the bead. And after rolling it over the pattern line i can see that the pattern didn't really get in there good. Now i have to redo the whole thing. Try again and i push harder this time, the bead now has a visible pattern, however it is inconsistent on all sides of the bead and my bead has been mushed out of shape from pressing it on the pattern mold. Can't reshape it now tho, or you will loose the pattern! If i couldn't get it right there is no way a 6 year old could. My daughter wanted the beads in the pics not the ones that actually came out. So we returned it. I am really good at arts and crafts so i ignored most of the reviews but it is just too difficult and messy to actually come out good.

I was really disappointed. The machine is not working well at all. The marbles are far from belle and it's nothing like what's on the packaging... Not worth $22!
