This was purchased to replace my old Cricut Explore 2. I love this new machine because of its versatility and ease of use. I love the smart settings that I was not able to use on my old one because the dial wasn't working. This is so much nicer since I don't have to worry about the dial not working. I have been a Cricut user since the first machine with all the cartridges. I have fallen in love all over again!

Cricut

I upgraded to the Maker from an Explore Air 2. The Maker gives me many more options for materials. I very much like the fact that I can dictate how I want to cut the image and the material I'm using through Design Space, instead of turning a knob. My Explore Air 2 is in great condition and I will continue to use it.

More Options Than Before

I upgraded from the air 2 to the maker and I'm loving it! It was hard to get the bluetooth to work but after that it's been a dream! Would recommend

Love my new machine!  Although I was surprised at how much louder it is while cutting.

Great machine

I am a first time user. I love the way it cuts cloth materials. I am enjoying learning this type of craft.

Beginner

I used my new Cricut Maker to cut the fabric sections for an embroidery machine project and it worked great for that purpose. In the past I had to cut the fabric sections by hand with a rotary blade cutter, which was tedious and exhausting. I plan to use my new Cricut Maker for its many other purposes soon (iron on appliques, vinyl labels, etc. I couldn't be more pleased with the Cricut Maker!

I love my new Cricut Maker!

So far loving it - but FREAKED it will break soon and I'll be done for.  Have cut lots of doll shoe soles, leather bookmarks (scrap leather), card stock bookmarks and made some cards.  Looking forward to cutting out some doll shoes (new pattern) and lots of Christmas things.

So far so good

I love my cricut but am disappointed in the length of time that they last. This is my THIRD machine in as many years. I strongly believe they should last longer than this. The shipping experience was a joke - it took over 3 weeks to arrive. My compensation? A whole month of Design Space was added to my account. Not sure what this was supposed to provide since I was without the machine for over 3 weeks. I this one doesn't have a better track record, I will be moving on.

Cricut needs to do Better!

I do love all the things the Cricut can do. I do find it has a hard time connecting to my computer whether that's using the USB or bluetooth. Also the Cricut Design Space freezes on me a lot and it's not necessarily an intuitive program. I have lost hours of work due to there being glitches.

A mixed bag

I ordered my very first Cricut in late June. It's September and I'm on my third Maker. First was DOA and second one broke a couple weeks after I got it. I got my third one in about a week ago and I'm hoping this will be my forever Cricut machine. I feel like I've been waiting for a long time to get my craft game on.
