Ease Of Use

Instructions

Dough Handling

Flavor

Can be smooth and pliable, but also sticky and difficult to work with.

Can be straightforward, but instructions may be unclear.

I have used the machine for about 3 years and like all pasta making it takes practice. Best thing I read was that the dough needs to mix to a fine crumble. I always use the auto setting so that the mix is complete and sometimes add a little flour or water if the mix does not look right or near the end if the dough is getting too sticky. Easy to add thru the lid opening.

Love this machine

cuisinart.com

It is so easy to prepare different shades of pasta. Homemade flavor pasta is heavenly, totally different from the one we buy at the supermarket. Soon I will make bread with this magical machine. Love it! 🥰

LOVE MY PASTAFECTO MACHINE 🫶🏼

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble! Great recipes came with the pasta maker, easy to follow directions, the pasta cutter on the machine is great,

Easy Pasta

Pretty Simple to use. Have only used for pasta, not bread making yet. One VERY important piece of advice, be sure to disassemble as soon as you are done using it. I had dough dry in the grooves of the locknut and even after soaking it for days, it would not come loose. Had to use vice grips to get it loose. Was pretty funny actually but lesson learned.

Makes great pasta!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew this appliance existed. It is not only a top quality Cuisinart product, but for pasta and bread lovers, it's a dream. The instructions are extremely clear on how to make pasta. Your first try may not be successful, but, trust me, when you get the hang of it, you'll never buy any from the store again. Fresh pasta is just simply delicious! If you have ever wanted to make bread, this product makes it so much easier to bake your own. It's very easy to use, very good instructions, and easy to clean. This may be my favorite gadget in the kitchen.

works wonderful and easy to make fresh pasta/bread

walmart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the dough it made. Clean-up was difficult.

I love how it kneads and the stretches the dough. The dough (pizza or bread) turns out better with this machine than when kneaded by my KitchenAid with a dough hook.
The only design defect is it should have a way of blocking the pasta mechanism when one is kneading dough and not making pasta. It would be a lot easier to clean.

Love it!

This is a very nice pasta maker. It mixes well and produces very good pasta in a number of shapes. Make sure to follow recipes provided- I wish there were more. The activation buttons are a little tricky and resetting is not explained well in the directions.

Good first version

I'd be very happy to change my review once Cuisinart overhauls and improves the appliance instructions. Once I went through the instructions several times, called Cuisinart (I was told to take it back if I couldn't get it to work.), and rewatched the YouTube video, I was able to finally - on my second attempt make pasta. Just a simple "Add ingredients, push Auto/Stop button" would be nice and useful.

FIX THE DIRECTIONS

We made the dough exactly as the recipe said. The dough was very crumbly and wouldn't extrude. It then overheated and baked the dough in the extruder. Luckily we are used to making our own pasta and I have several pasta rollers and boards. We took the dough out and made it our way and saved the dough mixture. I have numerous Cuisinart items and swear by their standards. This however missed the mark entirely and unless you use it as an expensive alternative to a KitchenAid mixer, I simply cannot recommend this to anyone. Again, we followed directions to the letter because we wanted a simpler way without bringing out all our tools. My wife's family came from Napoli, Italy so we all know how to make pasta. Extremely disappointed and I'm seeing if I can return this as defective because it obviously doesn't work as advertised.

Very disappointing
