Since I’m only cooking for one this is the perfect solution when I want to deep fry.
Ease of use make this a no-brainer. I use a 4 cup measuring cup to fill and drain with a strainer. It really performs well! The basket was the selling point for me. You can fry without it but the basket is great for fries and other smaller items!

I highly recommend this for single/small batch frying!

Better than Expected!

I love that the CDF-100 keeps the desired temperature.  When I fry fish, I want the oil to stay at the high temperature during cooking.  The CDF-100 accomplishes this for me.

Great Fish Fryer

Wonderful little machine, perfect for 2 people. Does not need a lot of oil, and reaches temperature precisely.
Compact size, easy to store.

Working well, small but good for 2 people. If you are a family of 3+ I recommend you to buy bigger models. Only drawback is that it is a bit hard to clean, because the oil container is not removable.

Pretty good

This little deep fryer is the bomb!  It uses less oil than my previous deep fryer, therefore it heats up much faster!  The heating element is not submerged in the oil which makes cleaning it much easier.  Very happy customer!

Perfect size for my wife and I to fry. We've had one for 14 years and it still worked fine, we just wanted a new one.

If you have the need to regularly deep fat fry, an electric fryer is a must-have to contain the mess and maintain oil temperature. This fryer is small enough to keep out on the counter between uses. The adjustable temperature gauge is pretty reliable when operating correctly. The basket is big enough to hold two drumsticks, 2-3 chicken strips, or 1-2 portions of fries, so if you are cooking for multiple people or one teenager with a big appetite, you will be working in batches.

We had our first Cuisinart compact fryer for 2 years 9 months before it stopped getting up to temperature. While that's too bad, we definitely got our money's worth in that time. After researching other compact fryer options, I decided that this model was still probably the best option out there and purchased a second one to replace the broken one.

Good option for small portions

The one-quart deep fryer category is problematic.  This is the third product I have tried, and although better than the other two, it doesn't really live up to Cuisinart's reputation.  The lid is not securely attached, and the thermostat runs 50 degrees hotter than indicated on the dial.  It's all the two of need though, so I'll keep using it.

The best of a weak product category.

We bought this on sale on black friday to replace a broken fryer. I like the size and it's easy to clean but, the safety cord disconnects constantly so its really hard to keep the temp consistent.

Not what i expected it to small can i take it back to the Walmart stores and find a bigger one
